The cabin is idyllically located with panoramic views of the beautiful village of Førde, the fjord and even a lot longer. Even though the cabin lies by itself practically on a pile, lay it on a farmer's yard, cows sheep and lambs in the vicinity. The cabin has a character, is more than 100 years old and has between anna a large, printed Viking ship model hanging on the ceiling. The entire cabin was restored a few years ago and then got modern equipment such as a new bathroom with heating cables and new kitchen with all necessary equipment.

"Gamlahuset" fra cirka 1880 leies ut. Huset ligger på et lite gårdstun i Gardsvågen på Talgje, 100 meter fra sjøen. Her er det badestrand, og det går turløyper rundt nesten hele øya. Fra Gardsvågen er det 1 km til hurtigbåtkai. Herfra er det 20-50 min med hurtigbåt til Stavanger. Det er 35 minutt med bil til Stavanger sentrum.
