Our log cabin is full of atmosphere but equipped for comfort and relaxing experience in the heart of City of Inverness. With one bedroom, hot tub and sauna is a heaven for couples although there is a sofa bed available for up to two kids or another couple of adults. The cabin was just built and finished only 2021, and offers fresh and clean as well as modern accommodation for city escapes. There is a large terrace and garden, offering kids friendly environment for families with no pets.

Last minute get away, the pod it’s self was absolutely beautiful, warm and well equipped. Easy check in, the private hot tub was a lovely. Shower wasn’t that powerful but it absolutely did the job! Check the safety information if you are allergic to horses. 🫣 it does state that there will be horses close (I clearly didn’t check this before booking, ooops) Although they were no problem at all!! They were far enough away from the pod apart from a blink in the morning so it was absolutely no issue for us really. Overall it is a beautiful place and we highly recommend staying here!! Thanks for a brilliant stay! xx

This is our second time visiting the Railway Cottage and we’ll definitely be back. This time we had two labradors and a 3 month old, and we found the cottage very well equipped with everything that we needed for a wonderful stay. We felt at home from the moment that we stepped through the door. The location is perfect for exploring the Cairngorms and the Belavil Estate across the road is absolutely stunning, offering endless paths for exploring!

The views from the lodge are absolutely stunning, and everything about our stay was perfect from start to finish. Our host was very helpful and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Our stay in the airstream was pure magic! We loved every minute of it and highly recommend this retreat into the Scottish countryside. The views are stunning and unencumbered by other buildings; the surroundings are exceptionally quiet and peaceful. The airstream is lovingly and creatively decorated in keeping with its vintage and all needs have been considered and catered to, inside and out. The host was exceptionally responsive and friendly and we felt very secure and taken care of while having all the privacy and space we wanted. If you enjoy the outdoors and also comfort, mod cons, and a super cool set-up, this is the place for you!

A genuinely wonderful stay at Mayen Estate, Ross was responsive, informative, and a great host. On arrival we were given a hamper with local goods, and a card for my partners birthday, as well as a bottle of champagne (which was very much enjoyed!). The house was fantastic, squeaky clean when we arrived and beautifully furnished, with plenty of firewood for the twin fires. The grounds at Mayen are spectacular, and I would highly recommend having a walk around all 700 acres, sadly the walled gardens were closed and under renovation when we stayed. Ross provided a full map of local recommendations, as well as connecting us with a taxi company for a visit to a local distillery. The local recommendations were spot on, and really helped to plan the trip. A lovely stay, and we look forward to returning in the future.

A beautiful cabin in a gorgeous location. The area surrounding the cabin was peaceful with occasional nature sounds. Absolutely loved my stay here and would definitely come back another time. Celia was great with everything - quick responses to all messages. The inside of the cabin was cosy and nicely decorated and also left with complimentary coffees and treats. If you are looking for a place to stay in nature to get a break from the city - this is the place! Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.

we had a wonderful time staying in this beach hut! we had everything we needed and Gertrud was very communicative and friendly. We were very lucky with the weather and had sunshine and warmth despite coming in April. the hut does provide great wind shelter and the little kettle and gas cooker means a hot water bottle can be prepared of necessary, so I think we would have been fine regardless. everything as described - would recommend this stay!
