Cabin vacation rentals in Fifty-Six

This cabin was in the perfect location for all of the best hiking and kayaking in the area. It's very remote, but lots of food options 30 min away. The cabin itself was adorable and cozy, it was very clean and well kept. The basement was perfect for sleeping. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at the Knotty Pine cabin. It was by far one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. Everything was spotless and the amenities were outstanding. So many extras- from the coffee bar, to the s’mores kit & snack basket, the host went above and beyond to make this the perfect cozy cabin with everything you need! Our favorite was the outdoor space. It rained several times during our stay, but we were still able to enjoy the fireplace & hot tub out on the covered deck. It was so relaxing after a day of kayaking and hiking. Jasper is a cute little town with several places to eat and a grocery store if you decide to cook at the cabin. We visited the Ozark Cafe, the local pizza joint, and Low Gap Cafe. All were good. We also grilled steaks out on the Traeger our last night there. It was perfect! We’re already looking forward to planning our next visit!

Lindsey and Heidi’s cabin was such a charming gem of a place. It was clean, cozy, peaceful, and very private! A perfect couples retreat. Her kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook full meals. My favorite detail were the white waffle knit robes. I brought clothes to wear but probably didn’t need to because I pretty much lived in the robes my entire stay!! The hosts were so responsive to my questions and even suggested some local activities that were happening the weekend we were there, which was great! I highly recommend their cabin if you are looking for a place near the Buffalo River!

Words cannot begin to describe our visit. The view from this cabin was absolutely breathtaking. We stumbled upon this location by fate, and it became a bucket list item we didn't know existed. Michael responded to our questions very quickly and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. Taking the ranger to the overlook during sunset was just perfect! We even extended an extra night, which wasn't enough. We will be returning! Book the cabin, you will not regret it.... Keep in mind that you might want to have a high-profile or off-road vehicle. I couldn't imagine getting there without one.

We loved it. We came to the area for hiking and canoeing, and while we didn't get to do a LOT of that because of the weather and rain, we still had a fantastic time because we were able to get away, play games, and just relax. We were really impressed with the cabin. The big front porch was great for watching the rain and drinking coffee. The hot tub was great for relaxation. He had everything we needed, and was super friendly and helpful - thank you Davis! The driveway to get to the house may not be for every person or vehicle, but we did not mind. It was totally doable with 4x4, and Davis has spent a lot of time, money, and effort improving it (and is still working on it even over the weekend we were there) - raging flood waters don't take it easy on anyone. Thanks again Davis, for a fantastic place to get away from everything!

My wife and I loved this cabin! We stayed here for our 11th wedding anniversary. It was just the place we needed for some peace and quiet and quality time together. We loved the rocking chairs on the deck/porch, the bedroom jacuzzi, and just the overall layout of the home. It was definitely a memorable stay!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and enjoyed everything! The view was great and the cabin provided everything we needed. The bed and couch were so comfy! The local town had cute shops and a few great places to eat. So many trails to hike as well. John was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend this place to anyone needing peace, solitude, privacy, and relaxation!!

Our stay at A Still Point Cabin was exactly the retreat we needed. Impeccably clean, private, and tranquil. It was well appointed and had all of the amenities we needed, though some of the details were starting to show their use. I didn’t see other guests mention it but the range and fridge/freezer are both apartment sized. We had to do some juggling to keep all of our groceries cold when we first arrived. All in all, it was a wonderful trip with excellent communication from the host and we hope to return soon!

We love the location. We have stayed here before. I recommend this cabin. Dauna was quick to respond when I had messaged her. We will stay here again in the future.

This was a great place to stay. Beautiful countryside and amazing views of the mountains. Plenty of space for our 3 dogs to roam. Loved the outdoor grill and outdoor fire pit. We used both and had no problems. John was in communication with us for anything happening while we stayed there. Besides the free wifi we did have great cell service on the hill. Kitchen was well stocked with spices and supplies of all sorts. We will be coming back.

Very responsive and flexible! The cabin was cute and very close to lots of floating and hiking!

My husband and I had wonderful time staying here. It was relaxing, peaceful, and the buffalo bender cabin has many little details that make it an enjoyable stay!

The owner was very communicative and helpful. He was responsive to our questions about the area and gave us great advice. Our stay, which included two families (total of 10 individuals) stayed very comfortably in this space. We enjoyed being able to cook out and do a campfire/smores with the kids. Firewood was available with a fire pit, which was convenient. The kids loved playing games in the game room when they needed something to do. The porch had a picture perfect view of the mountains, and we loved being able to lounge, have coffee, and chat. Our trip to Falling Water Falls was a huge hit with everyone. We swam there most of the day and explored the area. Anyone traveling in this area should be aware of ticks and how to prepare/manage while exploring the area. Overall, we would love to return.

Lovely views, great to have a screened in porch and pavilion with the nice fire pit GPS did not take us to the correct location, just FYI. Jeff responds quickly.

A lovely, many windowed cozy spot in the woods. The rain kept us in from exploring one whole day and we enjoyed it. High ceiling w nice decoration and well equipped small kitchen was very nice. Nice to sit in 3 areas under a roof, even in the rain. Remote & private in a beautiful area! Just what we like!!!

We had a great time exploring the area. The cabin was great and had plenty of room for my wife, our 2 sons and I. It is a nice setup and had everything we needed. We enjoyed checking out the area, did some hiking, visited Blanchard Springs Cavern, played some disc golf, and did some sightseeing. Our youngest son had a great time fishing at the pond. It was a very enjoyable vacation and staying at the cabin was very peaceful and relaxing. It was well worth the price and we were very satisfied with our experience.

Honestly, we can say enough about this place. Jim and Amanda are the greatest of hosts, and their cabin is just absolutely gorgeous. This is the 2nd stay that we have had, and always hate leaving. My wife and I would highly recommend this location and would also say that Jim and Amanda are as good as it gets when it comes to friendly and helpful hosts. You will not regret staying with them. I do however, regret that we cannot provide more than 5 stars!

Cottonwood cabin is very charming and comfortable, the screened porch is what sold us, with all the bugs in Arkansas. Not real close to Mountain View but close enough. Very close to the Ozark Folk Center and Blanchard springs caverns.

Cabin was so cute ! Pictures don’t do it justice. Great location. Located next to all the town’s favorites. The host was so nice and responded fast. The cabin had everything we needed. We even got to bring our dog which is always a plus! Would highly recommend staying here. Great price. Definitely beats staying in a hotel.

This place was exactly what we were hoping for and more. It’s beautiful, peaceful, private and relaxing. Dane and other host were so helpful and extremely welcoming. The main town is not too far and has lots of nice local restaurants. Would recommend to anyone wanting a calming getaway. We will be back!

Beautiful place, our kids loved running outside with our dog and catching lighting bugs. There was some rain in the forecast but thankfully it stopped for a while for us to enjoy the amazing pool. Kids are already wanting to go back!

Kim and Kevin are the ABSOLUTE best hosts.. we met them outside as we were checking in, Kevin gave us directions to local eateries, markets, etc.. Kim has the goodies waiting for you ( her sourdough bread is DEVINE) .. we had an issue connecting to WiFi and within 10 minutes, Kevin is coming up the stairs to save the day.. The cabin is absolutely wonderful, small, cozy, with a stream outside the back porch.. a few 100 ft from the river to fish ( which is why we chose this specific spot) , with everything you need.. the hot tub on the back porch is a wonderful added touch.. PJ’s lodge and restaurant ( literally a mile down the road) did NOT disappoint if you’re looking for fine dining.. Definitely a great place to go for that romantic low key vacation..

The place was so peaceful and secluded. Perfect size for two, amazing bath tub! We could’ve relaxed on the porch for a few days! We absolutely loved it.
