We stayed at this cabin during our trip to Scotland, and it was one of the most peaceful, intimate places we’ve ever been. Tucked away in nature, it gave us the perfect quiet escape to slow down and rest. Once we got used to the fireplace, it became so cozy, we ended up loving our quiet weekend there, just enjoying the an unplugged weekend together. Caroline and Andy were absolutely wonderful—so kind and responsive every step of the way. You can really tell they care about creating a special experience. One thing to note is that the cabin is fairly remote, which adds to its peaceful charm, but it does make getting around a bit tricky without a car. We didn’t rent one and ended up walking to the nearby town of Dollar. It was a beautiful 50 min walk through the countryside, but not the most convenient option, especially with groceries. If you’re planning to stay here, I’d definitely recommend renting a car! We’re so grateful we found this little spot and would go back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful house, the upstairs bedroom, bathroom and sauna really have the wow factor and the hot tub was a bonus. We were lucky with the weather so got to sit out in the secluded garden area and enjoy the sunshine. The fizz and muffins and flowers were a lovely touch.

We had a great time at the Caban. Nice and spacious for the three of us with everything we needed. Very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed having morning coffee outside on the decking and toasting marshmallows in fire pit in the evening. So thankful for wi-fi as no phone reception. Hosts were very responsive and always able to help with any questions.

This was an amazing place for us to stay as an extended family. There were nine of us, plus two dogs, and we rented the Doocot and the Lodge in the grounds. It is located right up in the hills and was blissfully remote yet easily accessible to the A90 to Perth and Dundee. The house itself was very comfortable and exactly as described. The sitting room was amazing with its enormously high ceilings, plenty of squishy sofas and a piano. There was also a Smart TV. For us, the best feature was the enormous dining table which easily seated us all and could have taken several other people too. We had lovely meals together all round the table. It was really memorable. The bathrooms were clean and new. The roll top bath was lovely and super to soak in. Check in, host communications etc were all super easy and they even helped us to have a hot tub ready for our arrival from Fife Hot Tub Hire. All in all, would highly recommend to people looking for a comfortable break away in the hills.

Something that helps our neurodivergent son to relax whilst being away from his familiarity. Close distance to the sea and the coastal walk to Pittenweem. Jackie is very friendly and helpful. Will love to visit again if the opportunity arises.

The house is fully stocked and perfect for traveling with a young family, with thoughtful touches like a clean crib and baby chair. Elaine was a lovely, communicative host and kindly set up the BBQ for us, which made our evening extra special. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

We had a lovely holiday at Howden Cottage which is a real gem. Heather and Simon have provided very cosy and comfortable accommodation for a peaceful and relaxing break. The cottage is very accessible to shops and services in East Linton (5 mins by car) and only 10 mins to North Berwick and the sea. The property was exceptionally well provided with everything you could need for your stay. We appreciated the gift of flowers and fresh eggs on arrival, and really enjoyed the wood burning stove one cold and wet day! Howden Cottage was a real home from home and we are already planning our next visit.

Ellen had great communication and made sure that everything was in place for our trip as we were catering a Christmas dinner cooked by chef. The location is stunning so much so that whilst on my stay there I decided to put in an offer on a property around the corner to live out my retirement there!!!!! Katy's property in St Andrews is superb. Great rooms, great kitchen, great lounge. The location is excellent, right in the centre of town and walking distance to lots of great shops, bars and restaurants. Katy is a pleasure to deal with, very helpful and quick to respond.

lovely clean chalet in beautiful surroundings. Beds comfortable with crisp white sheets on a decent mattress topper. We were blessed with beautiful weather one couldn't beat sitting out on the patio admiring the view and wildlife. Plenty to do so close to Edinburgh, Loch Leven with the castle/prison on the island but book the ferry beforehand to avoid disappointment. Rumbling Bridge/ gorge is a must. Sadly no cafe in Crook of Devon but Powmill Milk Bar is great for brunch/lunch and Kinross has some great restaurants. Will definitely try and go again.

What an absolute pleasure to have had the opportunity to stay here in the primrose pavilion. It was the most magical and cosy place, I felt like a princess! It was so warm and inviting. Everything was so clean and pristine. The bed was super comfortable and the bath tub so deep and relaxing. I really loved Gemma’s choices of products too, eco friendly and high quality. Gemma was a great and wonderful host so kind, helpful and great communication. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your hospitality we are ever so grateful and will remember this stay for forever💖

Perfect stay at Coulter Cottage over Easter weekend. It was absolutely pristine, very comfortable and lovely decor. Cannot fault our stay one bit. The additional touches of a wee welcome pack, information book and the lovely smelling pillow mist and diffusers were brill and made for an extremely relaxing family weekend away. Will definitely be back!

We absolutely ADORED the cottage — it was the perfect Cupar stay! We kept saying how we felt right at home, how much we loved the layout and the coziness of the house! Each room was lovely, the kitchen was well organized, beautiful and easy to use and the views of the surrounding land were breathtaking! Definitely would stay here again and would give 12 out of 10 stars if we could! Karen was very responsive and helpful, and allowed us to check in early once the cottage was ready!! Highly recommend this stay and space 🙌🏼

The Bothy is exquisitely designed, with sustainability at its heart. Tucked away on the edge of woodland and a stone’s throw from the coast, The Bothy is in a location that would be hard to beat. It’s full of beautiful design features and thoughtful touches to enhance your stay. Incredible bathroom, gorgeous box-bed ‘nooks’, cosy wool blinds and cushions, quality fixtures and fittings, lovely little wood burning stove and the bedding…!! Comfy and luxurious.. yet all with impressive eco credentials. Fiona could not have been a more responsive and accommodating host, full of great ideas - and the whole Off-Grid Travel team have created a stylish but sustainable haven. Don’t think twice about booking.. do it now :)

A gem of a place. Fiona responded very quickly to our booking (done about an hour before we turned up!) Lovely shepherd's hut, very cosy. Fiona was a lovely host and always available despite being very busy lambing! The shared bathroom and kitchen were absolutely fine. There was milk, tea and coffee and home made cookies when we areived. A fab stop off on our way home from the North Coast. Thank you Fiona.

From the time of our booking to our stay, this property took our words away from us. It is stunning my wife kids, and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. Our host was super responsive and helpful. The house is an excellent place to stay. Location is quiet yet close to town. Clearly a loved and cared for property. But above all I was impressed with the quality of communication, flexibility around timing, and generosity of provided amenities. This was an excellent Airbnb experience. Grateful to Mark and Jill for hosting our family.

We were lucky enough to stay at this gem of a place, with gorgeous sea views. The flat is very spacious with a good amount of comfortable furniture. The mattresses are very comfy with plenty of storage space. Bathroom was light and airy with a great, powerful overhead shower in the bath. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with all the essentials you could need. Full size fridge/freezer and washing machine/dryer, if needed. Plenty of parking just outside. So easy to walk into the lovely town. The beach is a stones throw away. It met our needs perfectly. Lucy is a great host and we would highly recommend staying in the flat.
