Vacation rentals with lake access in Fife

Lidsay was warm and welcoming even before I arrived. I felt at home in the space which was spotless. The breakfast and snack options were lovely and always there whenever I needed. If ever I needed a place to stay in Kinross again this would be first on my list.

Fantastic location and very easy to find just off M90. Lindsay sent comprehensive instructions on receipt of booking and was present to check us in and explain how everything worked. Lindsay and Frances are amazing hosts. The place is absolutely spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable had 3 great nights sleep. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker and fridge which Lindsay kindly stocked with butter, milk, cheese, ham, yoghurts. Also bread, cereal, biscuits and snacks so you will not go hungry. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Definitely require the given directions provided by the host as the GPS does not work in the area and I assume for aesthetics, is not clearly sign posted. The property Wifi works well however. Super clean and tidy. Very spacious bedrooms and the living area/kitchen was ace. There are a few card games in the TV unit which was a nice touch. A well equipped kitchen. Large back secured garden with seats and table. Super secluded and quiet but still near all the little villages along the coast. Beautiful part of Scotland. Would highly recommend.

Very well designed cottage making the best possible use of quite a small space - with both a shower room and bathroom , utility room as well as kitchen/living space and the patio with hot tub. Although near to the High Street with a range of takeaways and a superb butcher (Hunters) the cottage is in a very quiet street. The nearby Curate Wynd free car park was very handy and we could unload from there. Although Dawn and Darren were away Dawn was on hand to answer any queries. We had a great three day break - spending the days at the RSPB Nature Reserve in stunning weather. We ate out one night at the Balgedie Toll Tavern - highly recommended for great food and very good service.

We had a lovely stay, thought the cottage was in an ideal location and the interior was gorgeous, which was very beach themed, which we loved! Very clean and comfortable, we did not want for anything. Would definitely recommend.

My family and our dog stayed for a few days. Elaine was a fantastic host not only providing lots of information on the local area ahead of our visit but responsive whilst there. The Old Schoolhouse is very comfortable and in a perfect location. We very much enjoyed the privacy of the garden to enjoy the sunshine. Highly recommend and would stay again
