Overall excellent listing, comparing favourably to other Air BnB in which I have stayed. Cottage matched description and was very prettily decorated. Excellent file of information provided and Sandra was extremely responsive to queries and helpfully minded. On street parking which was nearby and not over subscribed so no issues. I would be happy to stay here again and to recommend it to other guests.

We booked a last minute getaway with our dog for 3 nights. Lilia could not have been a better host, from the recommendations of the pub close by to the dog walks from our doorstep. The accomodation was absolutely stunning with all of the home comforts required and a few little touches extra. I would absolutely recommend this gorgeous gem to everyone. Hopefully we will back on this area in the future 🤞

We were originally going to stay one night but felt so at home and comfortabke as soon as we arrived and we decided to stay an extra night. Helen was super accommodating and even provided us with extra fire wood and minor essentials. Would certainly stop by again.

what can I say? All the reviews about Herdy Lodge were spot on. To take a teenager away from his playstation to somewhere so quiet I was nervous. That ended when we arrived, just how lovely this place is cannot be described. So peaceful yet loads to do. My son and I have fallen in love with the lake district, my dog has a new found love of sheep and chickens. From arriving and receiving lovely treats and eggs from the farm, to the amazing locations to walk our dog. But so much more than that ... to hear my son ask when we can go back has made me smile driving all the way home to Watford. Andrew & Alison thank you for letting us stay at your gorgeous home. We'll be back next half term. I can guarantee that. Already missing our walks around Talkin Tarn. If I could give 20 🌟 I would.
