What a fantastic place to stay for some rest. It was exactly as described. Set in a beautiful calm location with a private entrance, hot tub & fire pit. An amazing place to spend a few days & we didn't want to leave. Sarah was very friendly & responsive.

The cottage is in a lovely location with great walks around esthwaite and windamere lakes. There is a great local pub and the accommodation was everything you could need. Even when the weather turned against us, I never felt put out as the cottage was well stocked. David and his family were proactive with communication and very helpful. I will be looking to rebook at some point in the future.

This was our second visit to the cottage and it did not disappoint. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful environment, everything you could ever need in terms of amenities in the kitchen! We even extended our trip one extra night as we did not want to leave! The photos of the views do not give it justice, I sat for hours outside reading, listening to the birds sing and watching the sheep. You will not get a better cottage in the Lake District!
