Tuscan Nature Views From Casa Gave

The house consists of two apartments within a wing of the Gave manor house in Sorana, a little village in the heart of Svizzera Pesciatina in Tuscany. Far from the crowd of cities, it's the right place where to escape and find relax. Admire the original wood beam ceilings and wooden fixtures while sitting around the indoor fireplace or spend a sunny afternoon out in the garden under the pergola or in the swimming pool surrounded by the olive trees terraces (airbnb.com/h/casagavenaturarelax). The apartment, with separate entrance, is composed as follows: - kitchen-living room with wood burning fireplace complete with all appliances, microwave, kettle and TV; - double bedroom with wardrobe and sofa bed. Removable baby bed available on request; - bathroom with toilet, shower and bidet. The property was completely renovated in 2017 respecting the original features, such as ceilings with chestnut beams, local stone walls, chestnut window frames and wrought iron gates. The furniture are made of wood recovered from the original beams. Outside there are a pergola covered by a wisteria where you can relax or eat and a bbq available for lunches and dinners. A ping-pong table and table football are also available. As we live next to the apartment we are available for any need of the guest. The home is in a natural setting with multiple areas for scenic hikes to enjoy. Take a trip to the amazing Lucca or to the Montecarlo vineries, or to the seaside in Versilia, have a spa day at Montecatini Terme, visit the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, and enjoy authentic cuisine at the local restaurants. Stay at Grandpa's hunting house turned into a cosy holiday home with two bedrooms. Has 1 double bedroom and another with 2 single beds, plus a nice and airy living/dining area. All renovated and furnished in the typical rustic tuscan style, with original antique furniture and artwork from the ancestors of the owner noble family. It has its own sunny private garden part within the magical gardens of the 400 years old Villa Unis. The property has a shared pool too for cooling off on summer days.

We enjoyed our time in Abetone. Finding the unit was a little challenging but that could just be our inexperience on narrow and steep roads. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming and helpful in town. The unit was as advertised and Gloria communicated well.

Al giorno d'oggi ci meravigliamo quando incontriamo persone disponibili, pronte a soddisfare ogni esigenza e a fare anche di più! Questa è la descrizione di Chiara e Andrea genitori di Giulia, che già dalla prenotazione hanno cercato di trovare qualsiasi soluzione per facilitare il nostro soggiorno. Il mio compagno é in sedia a rotelle e loro con qualche aggiustamento hanno reso il nostro soggiorno perfetto! L'appartamento è davvero confortevole, come essere a casa. In pieno centro storico e comodissimo per raggiungere la stazione del serraglio. Letto comodissimo!! Consiglio a tutti un soggiorno "Da Giulia" ma sopratutto sono felice di aver conosciuto persone così fantastiche!

Leonard and his wife were very kind and welcoming, beginning to end. They were very responsive to our contacts with them and proactive in ensuring we were comfortable and had all we needed. They kindly invited us to join them and the wider family at a homemade pizza party in the garden one evening and later even brought us unexpected sweet treats. The property and it's garden estate were beautiful. We had gorgeous views from 3 sides of our apartment , mountains one way, across the valley another, and over the large garden on the 3rd side. All of the outlooks beautiful. It would be perfectly possible to use taxis and trains to get around the general area though having our own car there was very convenient for shopping and travelling as some attractions and facilities are several miles away. I feel our trip would have been less rich without a car. I'd describe the apartment as comfortable if rustic, but we had all we needed whether cooker, fridge, micro, washing machine etc.

Non occorre usare parole ridondanti per dire quanto ci siamo trovati bene; e' evidente come nella deliziosa casetta di Sandra ogni cosa sia stata sistemata per rendere la permanenza degli ospiti il più possibile gradevole. Pulizia, dotazione di accessori, posizione, posto macchina, tranquillità della zona...e l'elenco potrebbe proseguire a lungo; e poi che dire di Sandra, una persona di una solarità fuori dal comune che accoglie i propri ospiti con un sorriso che è come un abbraccio....grazie mille e complimenti, speriamo tanto di ritornare!

Lara is the most welcoming and heartfelt person. Our stay at La Radice couldn’t be any better really. The house and garden was amazing as well as Lara’s restaurant with the most delicious homemade food. Everything made us feel very at home. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour chez Carlo et Elena. Le jardin clôturé et la piscine étaient de vrais plus. Sans compter toutes les petites attentions que Carlo a pu avoir pour nous, et même un cadeau pour notre petit chiot. Le logement est paisible entouré de montagnes avec une belle vue. Nous recommandons cette maison et son hôte car tout était parfait!

une personne très gentille et à l'écoute, elle parle très bien français et nous a trés bien conseillé pour trouver un restaurant. Elle a offert à notre fille une petite poule et des chocolats car c'était le weekend de Pâques, une charmante attention et avait préparé un panier pour notre chien.Bref nous avons été très bien accueillis.Quant au logement, il est très spacieux, bien aménagé, il y a absolument tout ce qu'il faut, il ne manque rien. L'environnement est très calme et il y a de belles balades à faire. Je recommande chaudement !

Chalet bellissimo, pulito, ben arredato e provvisto di tutto. Ottimo per chi viaggia con i propri animali; il giardino è completamente recintato. La signora Anna è gentilissima. Le foto pubblicate non rendono; l’alloggio è più bello dal vivo. Sicuramente torneremo, poiché siamo stati veramente bene.

Tutto perfetto! Silvia é una host molto attenta ai suoi ospiti, molto disponibile e una persona gradevole. La casa è un gioiellino. Piena di dettagli decorativi e mobili vintage originali che si incastrano perfettamente tra di loro. Al pian terreno un’ampia sala luminosissima che si affaccia sul porticato e giardino molto curati. Al piano di sopra 3 confortevoli camere da letto con biancheria pulitissima. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra. Le temperature non erano ideali per un tuffo nella splendida piscina ma, pensiamo già di tornarci per poterla provare!

Fabio super disponibile nelle comunicazioni prima di arrivare e Alessandro super gentile una volta arrivati: ottima squadra insomma :') Noi eravamo cinque adulti e ci siamo trovati benissimo! Letti comodi, biancheria pulita, tutto l'occorrente in cucina e in lavanderia, bagni puliti e spaziosi... sono stati così premurosi da farci trovare anche degli ombrelloni per il mare! A rendere il tutto ancora più piacevole e rilassante c'era la veranda con la bellissima vista dei monti. La posizione era strategica: 5 minuti per il supermercato fornitissimo nel paese di Camaiore, circa un quarto d'ora dallo splendido lungomare di Viareggio e a poca distanza da altre città come Lucca. Alessandro davvero affabile e gentile, tanto disponibile e tempestivo nell'aiutarci anche per i più piccoli problemi. Consigliamo tantissimo e non vediamo l'ora di tornare :)
