Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Falls Lake

This was hands down the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in during my 8 years of using the platform. The house is everything I’d imagine in a dream home—spacious, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. With three bedrooms upstairs, one in the basement, and three full bathrooms, it comfortably fit our group of five teenagers, my husband, me, and our German shepherd. Having three bathrooms was a total game-changer. The living spaces were cozy, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the peaceful setting was perfect for recharging. We stayed during Dreamville Festival, and even though it was a 30-minute drive to Raleigh, I wouldn’t have it any other way. The home, the setting—everything was perfect. We especially loved the outdoor swings. We stayed for three nights but could’ve stayed longer. The pictures don’t do this home justice—it’s even better in person. If you’re thinking of booking, do it. Perfection at its finest—you won’t regret it! ♥️

I must say that the pictures didn’t do the cottage justice! It was even better! It was so professionally designed and decorated! The landscape and surroundings were so beautiful and peaceful! I would definitely recommend it and my husband and I will be back!

Absolutely perfect spot. If you are looking for a lowkey vibe with plenty of space, this is the choice for you. Will most definitely be back next time I’m in town!

This house was amazing and the host was extremely responsive. We were looking for a place to relax and fish, and this was perfect. We were only there for few days but managed to catch so many different types of fish and probably close to 60 fish total. The house was clean and had everything we could imagine. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing adventure.

This area was really cute. The house was very well equipped, lots of additional items that made the stay pleasurable. The house and amenities appear fairly new and in great shape.

Matt and Dawn's place was beyond amazing! My kids and I were only 30 minutes away from our own home, but this getaway was much needed. The location was peaceful and very cozy! They respond quickly and were very nice! I would definitely book again for another stay! We were in heaven at this home🥰.

Our stay was wonderful. The location is good, the cottage was sweet and had everything we needed plus some. Rain is an excellent host and we would definitely stay there again.

The apartment was perfect! The work space was great and it already has a display screen. Mohmeet checked in during my stay and was very proactive. I will definitely stay here again. The walls are pretty thin. It didn’t bother me, but if you’re a light sleeper it could be a bother.

I had a wonderful stay at Jeanette's place. The space is beautiful and in lovely location immersed in nature. Would definitely come back.

This house was exactly as pictured with good space for four of us to all have our own room. It was well equipped with supplies and Mary/Joe were very responsive and helpful.

This was not my first stay at the Scout House, and it will not be my last. Everything about it is perfection - from the location, to the property, to the sensational hosts (Marie & BJ). My stay was delightful in every way and I cannot wait to return!

We have stayed at Lake O'the Woods before at Clementine's cabin so this time we opted for Henry's cabin. It did not disappoint! We were looking for something peaceful and away from the city and that's what Henry's offered. The place was cozy and comfortable with an amazing view of the lake and the horse paddock. The kitchen had enough supplies to make our meals and the bathroom was very well stocked. We enjoyed the privacy and the great view of the stars since there's very little light pollution from city lights. We look forward to returning again!

This place is heaven on earth. Check in was a breeze. The custom log cabin in beautifully appointed; dark wood and amazing lighting and artwork. The personal touches are so beautiful. Everything we needed was there, including in the kitchen. Spotlessly clean inside and out. Sadly I had to work remotely the entire time; internet made that happen seamlessly. The best part for us was the outside. Wraparound deck with a gorgeous view of the lake, with a charcoal grill and firepit. The floating dock was also immaculately clean and has chairs, at least one table, a "tiki bar", and even a little slide into the water for the kiddos if you go in the warm weather. I did yoga at sunrise on the dock, watching the sun come up over the river. Amazing. The hosts respected our privacy and were available for messages and responsive. I can't wait to return. Almost hate writing this review because I want it to be available next time we return. Five stars for sure. You're going to LOVE it!

Though I live close by in Cary, I needed a quiet retreat to finish writing my book and Barbara's place was perfect! Thoughtful touches throughout the home, incredibly clean, the kitchen is stocked with everything you might need to cook as if you were at home, and Barbara's communication was exceptional. I highly recommend this place for everyone as it's great for solo travelers, couples, or families. Make sure you have a sit in the hanging chair in the living room - it's delightful :) Thanks, Barbara!

Ms. Betty & Farmer Jerry were the perfect hosts - making us feel so welcomed! The cabin was exactly as described - cozy & well-appointed. We found no need to venture off the farm during our 4-night stay as there was so much to keep us busy! We toured the property with Jerry, explored further on the included golf cart, watched stallion training, caught buckets of frogs, & fed the friendly horses, donkey, & cattle (bring carrots & cored apples; alfalfa cubes were provided). We came prepared to fish all the ponds. Even so, fishing poles & bait options were offered, even "special" lizards to help our son catch the BIG ones! We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful setting & gracious hosts. The kids are already asking when we can book another stay :) Most everything you need is supplied - I've made a note to bring lidded containers for leftovers, foil, & sharp kitchen/steak knives next time. If early rising isn't your thing, pack ideas to keep the rude bird away from the master transom!

The backyard and pond are super nice. The cabin is well appointed and clean. There are several homes around so you get the remote experience without being alone. Cleaner was super nice and does a fantastic job!

Shane was an excellent host from beginning to end! The cabin is very private and peaceful with a great view of the lake and lots of amenities. I would definitely stay again.

Great spot, great hosts, easy check in, Map apps won’t have an issue finding the place. Living in a big city, it was nice to fall asleep to crickets and enjoy the birds in the morning.
