Cute Airbnb in the Oakland hills, very peaceful at night. had everything we needed, Alex was very helpful and even ordered us a new grill for when we arrived. I will say the bathroom is not built for a larger person! (I'm 5'10" and barely fit on the toilet lol). Outdoor cat Frankie is a cute addition! Don't be turned away by the idea of the stairs it's really not bad at all. Would definitely recommend! Close to tons of parks and restaurants and groceries.

'Extremely delighted with the cottage. Loved being surrounded by nature and trees, and having views of the San Francisco bay in the distance. It was impeccably clean, well stocked, and comfortable. It is small, as advertised, but perfect for a couple and maybe for another person or two. Clair was out of the area during our visit, but she was very responsive by text, checked to make sure all was well, and provided useful local information. 'Loved that on a near-by walking trail a rider gave me snacks to feed his horse. In spite of the cabin being away from the hubbub of city life, there is a grocery store and filling station near by for quick trips. My son's downtown Oakland apartment is likely less than 25 minutes away. I highly recommend the cottage and will reserve again if we visit the Oakland area again.

What a super convenient location for our needs between Ross, Mill Valley, San Fran and Sonoma activities. Mona dropped by at our convenience and gave us a quick very informative overview. Such a kind human! Worked perfectly for our family over Thanksgiving. In floor heating takes awhile to heat, but we managed just fine. Mona spoiled us with amazing coffee…..many thanks! Enjoy this wonderful location.

Me and my family had an amazing time staying at this home! The hosts were so sweet, very accommodating and very communicative. They made us feel right at home! I loved how quiet and peaceful the environment was. The grocery store was only seven minutes away and not far from anything. Our children stayed busy with all of the toys that they had in their children’s room, they loved their pet goats It was definitely an experience having them there. They had all of the necessities I needed to barbecue. I also love the gesture of them having a box of delicious donuts when we arrived as me and my children had traveled far It was such a special treat for them. A very beautiful home, and felt right at home. I highly recommend to stay at this location!

Lovely place in a fantastic location in the Berkeley Hills. With a partial bay view, it is an easy walk to lovely locations in the Hills, such as the Rose Garden. Close by is the "gourmet ghetto", with great restaurants and shops. There is a wonderful deck that is great to sit on when the weather is good. Bonnie, the host, was immediately responsive with all communications.

Idyllic cottage respite. Rustic, not rusty! Feels worlds away in the countryside yet just two miles or less from wineries, restaurants and downtown/Sonoma square. Minimal kitchen (small fridge) but can accommodate lighter fare such as sandwiches, yogurt/parfait for bfast, charcuterie, or take-out (bring back and eat on the lovely wraparound porch, watch an amazing sunset and listen to the peaceful nightlife). Four people max — trundle and one queen — but it was comfortable and a wonderful setup for our needs. Dim bath lighting but fixable. Very fluffy towels and nice linens, plenty of seating for inside or outside dining/lounging. Hosts are on property but unobtrusive/unseen. We were greeted with a beautiful bottle of wine and some light provisions to help us unwind and settle in. Definitely would come back. Thank you, Kathleen!

This is one of the best air bnb experiences I have had. The cottage is lovely with private secured parking. Inside you have everything you can think of. As well it is very spacious. The best part by far was the host. She was so very kind and welcoming. She greeted me on arrival to make sure all was well. She also helped me figure out the heating system. She is the best air bnb host!
