It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

The house is a gem, but if possible the village and the surroundings even more. The two of us and our furry friends fell in love with the air you breathe, a place set in time but at the same time close to everything. The Valmalenco and its mountains are a breathtaking place that stays in the heart! It's also a super-appointed place for dogs as there's no lack of indoor and outdoor space. Friendly and friendly Compaesani. You will love it!

This Airbnb was beyond gorgeous.. The views were just absolutely breathtaking and it was nice to be on the local side of Lake Como.. our host made great recommendations.. and we really enjoyed sitting out on the terrace. We loved our time in the hut. The nature around us was spectacular and there were good options for hikes with stunning views. It was very quiet appart for some hikers and bikers passing on the trail nearby, mostly on the weekend. Giordano was very welcoming and always made sure we had everything we needed and more.
