What a slice of heaven! Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or something family friendly, this beautiful 17th century cottage is perfect. It had all the modern amenities without sacrificing charm or historic touches. We enjoyed the spacious back garden too! Matthew’s check in instructions were so helpful- even including a photo of the parking area right around the corner. We also really appreciated the thorough restaurant recommendations so we could make reservations well in advance and not worry about the added research. Our toddler loved exploring the lovely streets of Beaulieu with us and seeing the docile donkeys and horses. Excellent cafes and restaurants are all within a 2 minute walk. We feel so fortunate to have enjoyed a fantastic extended weekend here. Don’t hesitate to book this!

Lovely stay in Alan's cottage. Perfect location for the New Forest cycling event and lots of walking routes nearby. Alan was the perfect host, always on hand but discreetly in the background. Use of the outhouse for storing our bike was ideal. Would definitely recommend.
