Overall, great place to stay for longer period of time. Ideal for a couple. Low density building with 6 floors. PH2 had a large balcony with partial sea view. Internet was strong and easy access to laundry machine. Bed is large and comfortable. Close to Gurney malls and hawker places. Shower pressure was strong, but sink water pressure was low. AC worked great. For some reason, a few mosquitoes buzzing around despite closed windows and doors. To summarize, we would stay here again.

We stayed as a family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) at Eng's beautiful home for 3 nights. The place is just as good as the photos, a thoughfully converted shophouse with lots of character. We felt right at home. You're in the centre of Georgetown so easy walkable access to shops, restaurants and some lovely cafes (recommend Mugshot Cafe round the corner). Comfortable bedrooms and lounge area. The kitchen is simply equipped with microwave, toaster and a hob, but we didn't make much use of this, opting for local restaurants and Grab takeaways instead. Thoughtful touches, such as plenty of umbrellas, slippers for the house, a booklet on the restoration of Muda Blue (which we were invited to keep) and lovely toiletries in the bathroom, as well as laundry tablets for the washer. Note that you are in the middle of a busy town and we did experience some loud music on the last night but this did not detract from our stay at all. Great responsive hosts. Thank you, Eng and GL.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful heritage house in Georgetown, Penang. The decor and renovation work really brought out the charm and character of the place. The house was full of thoughtful details and information about its history, which we really appreciated. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the city and close to everything. The host was very helpful, responded quickly, and was very flexible with check-in and check-out, which made our trip even smoother. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay in Penang!
