Gorgeous home in a stunning location, perfect communication

We had a fantastic stay in the chalet. The chalet itself is beautiful and clearly built and furnished with a great deal of skill and care. It’s located on a beautiful hillside with views of the surrounding mountains and surrounded by green pastures. Our closest neighbors were the local cows. The location works best with a car and is within easy driving distance to hikes and sites in the Interlaken region. It’s possible to get there by public transport through a bus from Brienz but it didn’t seem to be very frequent (about once an hour). We were there in September which was a good time to visit. The chalet is heated by wood fire and was a bit cold the first night (we arrived late and the fire wasn’t on for long before we went to bed) but very comfortable the rest of the stay - there was plenty of wood and it kept the heat in well). The weather outside was great for hikes and exploring. It was clearly off-season and some restaurants were closed (eg in Axalp) so good to plan ahead.

Really enjoyed our stay at the property. Such a lovely villa in a beautiful location. Easy to get to by public transport or a walk around the lake. Giuseppe was a great host, always responsive to our queries and also sorted out our Lucerne cards before our arrival which gave us free transport and discounts in the area. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we can return in the future.

Comfortable accommodation with suitable facilities and inviting outdoor seating. Located on the edge of a campsite, it offers a beautiful view of the countryside. Pleasant communication with the owner. Recommended.

Great place with a fantastic view of the lake! I found everything to be as described with the sauna being an obvious highlight. Due to the house being located at a cul-de-sac, it feels very private (except for the odd rando intrigued by the view or the owner's sister collecting some furniture on Easter weekend). The autobahn is nearby, but its sound doesn't overwhelm that of the cow bells, so no big deal.

This bungalow is simply an absolute gem. Every detail in this house is a testament to a lot of love and style. We felt totally comfortable and welcome right away So the hot tub was already heated and ready for us. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, everything is there. Furthermore, the comfortable sofa invites you to cozy evenings and later a very comfortable bed awaits you. Fabienne is a warm host who communicates proactively and is very generous. I'm sure we'll be back!

Noé is a wonderful host - very responsive and so thoughtful with their space & amenities. Their home was a perfect getaway, extremely relaxing and easy to settle in. The views and surrounding areas are stunning. Highly, highly recommend!

An amazing weekend getaway in the mountains. Fantastic layout inside, cozy fireplace and stunning view from the yard / breakfast nook area. Will definitely come back!

Immaculately clean, efficient, everything is thought of. There were basic necessities that are often overlooked such as aluminum foil or everyday food seasoning, or laundry detergent. Urs provided written instructions on how to use the oven, microwave, multi purpose light switches and other appliances. There was a high chair and many indoor and outdoor games and puzzles to play. There was even a trampoline. We enjoyed driving past the horses and cows of the neighboring homes and the view from the house cannot be captured by photo alone. It was peaceful and serene. Truly a joy to stay at. The owner's dog is also the sweetest and smartest. We enjoyed greeting her as we would come and go. All around lovely stay.

William's place was perfect. He was responsive, helpful, and kind. Both in communication via Airbnb and in person. The house is beautiful, spacious and clean. There were eight of us and we had a great time. The house is cozy and warm. There are several snowshoeing, hiking, and skiing options nearby. Airbnb Highly recommended, thank you William!

Brigitte’s lovely chalet is beautifully poised above the village with a view to the other side of the valley, not far from a waterfall. It was clean and with a well stocked kitchen. Brigitte herself was very helpful and friendly. We hope to return!

Everything about our stay was great! There were clear check in/out instructions, and we had no problem finding anything! We walked everywhere (max 20ish mins), so the location was good. The host went above and beyond to make our stay as smooth and memorable as possible. You can tell she put a lot of thought for her guests!

Very good experience with the host and the location of the apartment. Everything, from grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants to pharmacies and bus stations is practically on the doorstep of the apartment, so I would definitely recommend the visit. Also very nice and quiet location with its own terrace and outdoor kitchen with grill :)

When I had to leave this Airbnb, I was so sad! It was one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed and it was so peaceful at all times of the day. We loved waking up to the sound of birds and going and grabbing coffee and sitting in the conservatory. We were even lucky enough to be greeted by their cat, walking around the grounds. The pictures do not do this place justice, it was so cute! We had a rental car which made it so easy to get anywhere, and for us, right outside of Bern was the perfect resting place for us to be able to see Switzerland. We were able to see everything we wanted in just about one hour. Our travel plans changed quite a bit and the hosts were very kind and understanding. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy and attractively furnished apartment in beautifully renovated old house. Well-equipped kitchen, including sharp knives, cozy living room with two beds and charming bedroom. Michal is a kind, nice and helpful host. If you are looking for peace and nature, Prêles is the right place. We loved it!

We were guests for the second time in this beautiful alpine hut and that probably says it all! :) Our first stay in the pre-Christmas season 2023 could hardly have been more beautiful with fresh fresh snow. Also this time at the beginning of March we had fantastic weather - some snow, sunshine every day and blue sky - we can hardly imagine a more relaxing place than Cortinella. The alpine panorama in the tranquility of nature and of course the hot tub are the highlights in this vacation paradise, where we lacked nothing - except maybe enough vacation days ;-) Hopefully we will be back soon!

We discovered a beautiful location and at the same time a beautiful solution to stay.

Overall, we had a wonderful time, definitely a highlight of our trip! Such a fun Airbnb. The only thing is, we hiked beyond it because we miss interpreted the blue cattle fencing as a taped off trail. I think that’s the American not wanting to trespass in us. The hike in instructions were very thorough.

Five Stars!!! This is the 2nd time we book this place as extremely perfect for large groups! It is surrended by green and very close to the city. A BBQ spot is in the air also 😎😎😎

Fabio, was a great host. His rustica is charming and in a fantastic location to escape into the mountains. Excellent entertainment from the neighbouring Marmots, and stunning sunsets. The chalet but has just the right amount of the basics to make it authentic, comfortable and practical. Great, thanks. James

family of four with two teenagers, absolutely loved this place. the two cabins are perfect, really well designed, great to be able to have separate space. the beds are big and comfortable, two great bathrooms, really unique set up and design. we enjoyed a fire pit in the evening under the mountain backdrop. there are beautiful walks direct from the house, plus Nick has provided some orher good recommendations in his guest book. glacier 3000 just 15 minutes easy drive, highly recommended for a day out. the host was always friendly and responsive, we highly recommend this place for a family looking to relax and have some fantastic hikes in the Swiss mountains.

It was a fantastically quiet and beautiful stay in picturesque surroundings. Highly recommend.
