House vacation rentals in Ermatingen

The cottage is idyllically located on a small vineyard. nice weather has my great view of the valley. There are some shopping and a small bakery nearby. From Marbach, you can also find many excursion destinations reach out.

The house was perfect. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Super close to a tram stop which made it easy to get into Zurich. Safe and quiet neighborhood. My mother in law ended up having emergency surgery while we were there - the hospital is a 3 minute walk from the house. Thomas and his family were so kind and helpful during a stressful situation. While the vacation did not go as planned, being in such a beautiful space made all the difference! We would love to come and stay at Thomas' home anytime!

Renate was very warm and brought a delicious self-baked apple strudel and chicken to welcome you. She also wrote a hearty birthday card and made a little surprise. Renate was always available and gave us many good tips, such as restaurants. The house was very clean and well maintained and we immediately felt at home. We will certainly be back! Very well located accommodation in the area, surrounded by beautiful scenery and quiet. Typical chalet of the area. Vintage interior, very well equipped. Ceiling height indeed low for tall people but Ok for the others.

Our stay was just great. Antonia is extremely friendly and her cozy house is quietly located. Our dogs felt right at home :) We'd love to come back

Great place, very big and clean

They were both flexible and very communicative. The view from the deck is gorgeous. Is definitely out of the city center. Great market is about a 10 min walk through residential neighborhood. Kitchen has everything for cooking you need.

Margret is a very friendly and helpful hostess. We were four (2 adults and 2 children). The house offers enough space on two floors and is well equipped. We felt very comfortable and would book the accommodation again at any time.

Philipp's place was neat and clean. The rooms looked exactly like the pictures. The kitchen offered sufficiently good amenities and had everything you need. The decor was discreet and tasteful. The environment is very quiet and relaxing. There was ample parking. In the area there were some beautiful hiking trails and various excursion destinations to reach in about 30 minutes. Overall highly recommended!

There were two of us in the beautiful part of Wendy and Sven's house. Wendy welcomed us and showed us the charming apartment in her Appenzell house. In the spacious kitchen we were able to cater perfectly, the fridge is large and there is plenty of dishes available. Great that there is also a dishwasher! Tabs, detergent, sponge, enough kitchen towels, everything available. Also plenty of towels and toilet paper. We didn't miss anything. We took beautiful hikes and had good food in neighboring Heiden. We also visited the Henry Dunant Museum in Heiden - very interesting! In the cozy living room, we were able to relax well and review our experiences. The ceilings and door frames are low because it is an old, very pretty, renovated Appenzell house, you have to be a little careful. We're looking forward to our next visit with Wendy and Sven!

Wonderful place with charm and style! The Albergo Centro in Hüfingen is a real gem. The small house convinces with loving architectural details and a very special flair. The terrace invites you to relax, and the kitchen is not only well equipped, but also really beautifully designed – perfect for those who like to cook themselves. The location is very central, so you can get anywhere quickly, but still enjoy your peace. An all-round successful stay – I will be happy to come back!

I had a wonderful time at Valerie and Tobi's place! The house was not only tastefully furnished, but also sparkling clean and equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Valerie and Tobi were very friendly and attentive hosts who were available for any questions and had helpful tips about the area. If we vacation nearby again, then certainly in the same location. Everything is correct and worth the price. The house fits the beautiful area and vice versa. Space and variability is massively available. It is quiet despite a church nearby. Contact with hostess completely unproblematic, precise, friendly and fast. From Öhningen-Schienen you can easily explore the entire Höri peninsula, Switzerland is within sight, perfect. You have to top that first!

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful, quiet area. Easily accessible vacation home. Good connection by train to Constance, for example.

Our stay was perfect in all parts. The cottage is centrally located and yet very quiet. The setup is in all parts of the description. We highly recommend holidays in Appenzell.

We loved the modern and high tech feel of the place. It was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. It was easy to find and had everything we needed to feel right at home.

The host is responsive and supportive. The location is 30’ from the city center but close to train and bus station.

Our stay at the place was very pleasant. We liked the fireplace the most, which we also lit. Then it got really nice and warm and cozy. Our dog also felt really comfortable and had a nice big garden to romp around. What we also found heartwarming was that the hostess had put down a towel for us to clean the paws of our dog (we unfortunately had not thought of that). Nearby is also a Spar so that nothing stood in the way of physical well-being. The area is breathtakingly beautiful. We would book the place again anytime. The communication between the hostess and us also went well. Everything totally straightforward and friendly. If you want to recover from the stress of everyday life, this is the place to be. For us, it was great and we were able to see the family (who lives there) again for a while :-)
