From start to finish, such a fabulous stay. Communication was excellent and the owners are helpful and interactive and also felt i had my privacy. The house is stunning and incredibly comfortable in every way. Has everything you need in the kitchen too. Shepherds Hut, Llangollen, North Wales

Well appointed accommodation in a quiet rural location. Only 15 mins walk to the Pontcysyllte Acquesuct and 8 mins drive to Llangollen. Russell is a friendly and welcoming host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, making the most of the BBQ and the lovely outdoor seating area. It's a great base for the outdoor activities , whether it be canoeing across the Aqueduct or walking to Castel Dinas Bran. We took in the Zip World at Penrhyn Quarry.

The Dovecote

The stay at Sally's Dovecote was lovely. It is beautifully converted and decorated and in a brilliant location for exploring the local area. There are great views across the fields with horses and cattle. Sally is a very welcoming host and we look forward to meeting her again on another stay.
A wooden gate is highlighted at the entrance to a woodland path. Informational signs regarding Pisgah Quarry are mounted on the gate, surrounded by lush greenery. The path leads into a dense forest area, characterized by earthy tones and natural elements.

King Bed, luxury cottage/5 mins to city center

JonathanRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Great stay in Wrexham. Lance was very helpful, with great local recommendations. The place is as advertised - everything works well. It is small, as listed, but all the choices made about furnishings and appliances are well done, so you never feel like you are crowded. The water was very hot and never ran low for three showers, and the towels were top notch. The bedding was great. The mattress was better in the main bedroom than the spare. We used this as our home base to visit Wrexham, Conwy, Liverpool, and Manchester. It was nice to come back to a quiet place in the evening, and Wrexham surprised us with how many excellent dinner options it had. The Savvy Fox and Thai Dine were fantastic - as good as anything we had on the London potion of our vacation. Gotta have a Wrexham Lager at the Turf while you’re here too!

Knolton Mill Cottage

RosieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Such a peaceful place to stay. Set in beautiful surroundings, no passing traffic, no internet/phone signal. We had a blissful stay. We watched the birds, the sheep and newly born lambs, the guinea fowl up on the hill were hilarious. The weather was fabulous 🌞 and the cottage had everything we needed. Thank you once again Diana!
