Fantastic stay, although our stay was for work we thoroughly enjoyed coming back to a lovely home. Chantal was a fantastic host and we will definitely stay here again when in the area. Very clean, tidy and the kingsized bed was one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in. My colleague had zero complains for his bed either. Thank you for having us.

We found the little house incredibly cosy and comfortable – the perfect base for exploring the area. It’s in an ideal location for both fishing and birding, with so much natural beauty right on the doorstep. Kristy was a lovely host and made everything easy and welcoming. She also provided a folder full of great local recommendations for restaurants and things to do, which was really helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return!

We’ve just returned from a lovely stay at Keith and Liz’s place. Communication was fantastic and it was easy to check in. We were given detailed instructions that we could add to our Tesco delivery that we booked ahead of time. We were two families of 4, the kids loved the house and were sad to come home. Everything was as expected and more. I personally loved sitting in the conservatory watching all the different birds in the bushes outside (bring your bird book!) and we were so excited to see pheasants right outside too! We recommend the Xplore science centre in Wrexham for a rainy day with kids, and tried to visit the Shropshire sculpture park on the way home but unfortunately it was closed due to high winds..an excuse to come back for sure! We loved the layout of this place—upstairs living and downstairs sleeping worked perfectly for us. The floors were quite noisy, but thankfully, with toddlers around, most of our group was already used to a little extra noise! If you're comfortable driving up steep roads, this venue is well worth it. It was wonderfully warm inside, so much so that we didn’t even get a chance to use the fire! There are plenty of activities and adventures within a 15 to 30-minute drive, but the on-site games room is a great option for fun as well. While we didn’t get to explore nearby walks, we noticed plenty of people parked close by, suggesting there’s lots to enjoy in the area. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d absolutely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay, lovely town and cosy great spot within it. The cottage was well equipped and had lots of lovely touches, books, games etc. Great walks, coffee spots, shops, easy supermarkets nearby. We met the host briefly who was friendly and welcoming. Our only improvements would have been clearer instructions on the parking (a permit for the road was provided) and location (it’s slightly off the street) before arriving at the place, and heating having been on as it took us a bit of time to work out and heat up which was tricky with a baby. Otherwise excellent, would highly recommend, thank you!

Great stay at this place full of character. The photos don’t do justice to how nice it is, particularly the sitting room area on the floor before the bedroom which is full of light and a nice views. Bed is super comfy. Very generous mini bar/breakfast offerings too, thank you! Kettle and some cutlery but bear in mind no kitchenette or anything for breakfast. Highly recommended, and very helpful host. Thanks for the lovely Christmas stay.

House was big and spacious, really clean and tidy and great value for money. Location was ideal for us attending a nearby wedding.

Absolutely beautiful cabin! The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The cabin was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. The added extras made the place feel incredibly homely—board games, cozy throws, a TV, cooking supplies, BBQ, and more. I highly recommend!
