Vacation rentals with lake access in Epping Forest

What a beautiful place to stay - right next to a nature reserve, with the oyster catchers and curlews calling at night and wildlife wandering into the garden. But also very close to pubs, coffee shop and the sea. Great if you like birds, wildlife and peace and quiet.

What a fabulous couple of days we have had at Aimee's place! Aimee was wonderful to deal with, answering any questions in super quick time and so very friendly on meeting us. Such a unique place to stay - absolutely love the way Aimee has done her beautiful home up - we felt so comfy and so enjoyed the boat trips, visits from the gorgeous geese and swans, cats and meeting lovely Bob next door. We felt gutted that we only had a couple of days of our trip left - as would have loved to stay longer and explore more of the area. How lucky are we that Aimee shares her adorable place with us!!! Alison was a wonderful host, there to greet us and she had already given us recommendations for the area. She showed us around her house explaining where everything is. The house book has all the instructions in it. The photos of the house do not do it justice, the house is so well designed with superb views. Wildlife watching from the terrace is a must! Every amenity has been thought of and we did not want to leave the house. However on venturing out there are plenty of walks from the house, or Marlow and Bray are not too far away with all of their famous restaurants. An exceptional location with Clivedon not too far away. We will be back, we had a wonderful time and cannot recommend Alison’s house highly enough.

Vaida's place was as described. It was very clean, well furnished and quiet. Check-in was a breeze. Vaida was very responsive and turned around any request for assistance very quickly.. We felt right at home. The house is close to the Excel and London City Airport. I will stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.

Our family of three had an exceptional stay at Lynn’s. The location next to Regent’s Park AND minutes walk to Baker Street stop ideal. The Mews is so quiet you would never know you were staying in Central London. Lynn communicated all our need to knows and quickly responded to queries. It is a home away from home and will book again. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at the Lake House. The kitchen was well stocked and the private outdoor space made meals feel special. We would definitely come back again.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The house was absolutely perfect—spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. I was especially touched by the extra care taken to prepare for my son’s stay: a high chair, cot bed, and even some lovely toys were all thoughtfully provided, which made a big difference for us as a family. The garden was a peaceful haven and perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or letting my little one play. The location is ideal for a longer stay, with easy access to nearby attractions for day trips—and even London is not too far away. Every detail in the home showed how much the host cares about the guests’ comfort. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’m so grateful for the warm hospitality and would love to come back again!

FIve Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ PLUS Fabulous Communication and location. The apartment was very roomy, with everything we needed. Very clean. In a very quiet area. Only a few minutes walk to get the Thames Clipper Boat, Tube, Train and buses, so not long before we were seeing all the Iconic sights of London. Could not recommend more highly. Wish we had stayed here longer.

Great place to stay in central London. Quiet and safe too. Very clean and the view across the waters to central London was jaw dropping.

The place was really nice and the urbistay team were so nice and helpful! We had some problems that lead us to arriving after the check-in time but they were so understanding and helped us check-in in another way! The apartment was also very clean and pretty!

Fantastic place nestled within a beautiful modern homely community. Everything down to having all the different utensils required to make a good dish is there. The effort going into making this beautiful place so welcoming is great!

A descent place, free street parking and perfect for those who aren’t going that much in to the city centre. Close to Elizabeth line (with bus), which makes it easy to come from anywhere. There’s also a few local pubs and restaurants in near vicinity only requiring five minutes by car. The flat it self were also just what we needed. It were tidy and nice, with all facilities one needs.

Femi’s flat is very well decorated and also well stocked making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Location is perfect in the town center. Femi is a great host, giving clear instructions in advance and being highly responsive during the stay. I would highly recommend this apartment and would happily stay again.

Went for a short trip to visit a concert in crystal palace park. Great place, great time in the city. would absolutely book the apartment again. Very comfy bed - we slept soooo well! Thank you Peter!

Beautiful cottage style house very homely with lots of personal expression in the decor and personal effects (instruments and furnishings) Very spacious both inside and outside. Close enough to Milton Keynes for our event and close to surrounding towns but very quiet residential area with quaint little strip of shops and a post office. Was ideal stay for our purposes at a time where all accommodation was high it was fairly priced although I did mention it was not most ideal price but when you get there and see that your in their home and protecting their space it is clear why it’s priced as such. This is a stay that will feel like you’re in someone’s home, however, the communication and instructions allow you to feel at ease and welcome. Neighbours seemed lovely and friendly and the cat was a welcomed visitor. Cannot fault the property or its amenities at all would love to stay again

We had a lovely stay at Debi’s property. We didn’t know it was so close to the Runnymede memorial trail which quickly became our daily routine. Debi was quick to respond with our questions. Wonderful stay.

Es sind ein wunderschönes Haus in einer wunderschönen Gegend. Das Haus lies keine Wünsche offen. An alles wurde gedacht und nach dem ankommen hat man sich gleich wie Zuhause gefühlt. Gern wieder aber dann mit ein bisschen mehr Zeit.

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in de mooie cottage van Mooi. Echt tot rust komen na de drukte in Londen City. Het huis is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Wij hadden prachtig weer en dan is het heerlijk om in de tuin te ontbijten. Het bos naast de deur is een pre! Mooi is betrokken en goed bereikbaar als dat nodig is. We komen heel graag nog eens terug!

Wonderful quaint cottage in a quiet courtyard. Loved the Church bells in the background on one day, made it all more enchanting. Would definitely book again, great location to explore Windsor.

Thank you for a wonderful Stay Linda. 13 of us has a reunion and enjoyed eating in the garden whilst the BBQ was going, absolutely delightful. That sunset view from the kitchen is epic. 100% recommend to anyone thinking of staying. Decent size kitchen to prep dinner and the rooms were beautiful. Thanks again Linda :)
