Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Epping Forest

Honestly, this was the perfect answer to our needs. This home - clean, quiet, near the tube & a short, pleasant walk to shops. Parking & driving to the property was a little tricky as the road is narrow but this was not a significant concern. James's communication was always clear and consistent - regularly checking in before, during & after our stay. I do hope this property is available when I need it again! Great place to stay with short walk to an underground station and local shop with basics plus two pubs offering great food and drink. The property was clean and had all that we needed for our stay, and the team were responsive to questions and queries, giving a detailed welcome with key items to be aware of. Would definitely look to stay here again!

This was the perfect place for us as we visited family who live nearby. The house is clean, cosy, and so close to the station that if it was any closer it would have been inside the train :) With that being said - you cannot hear the trains. The host was very accommodating and let us check in early as we carried lots of luggage. We even wanted to rebook after our travels to Cotswolds but it was booked. I couldn’t recommend enough. Thank you!

Our stay at Mark and Dee’s lovely home was wonderful. The location was truly perfect and completely convenient —lots of shops and restaurants and a 5 min walk to the central line. The home was beautiful with modern appliances, a lovely back garden, and enough space for our entire family to have their own bedrooms and baths. Lastly, Mark and Dee were always responsive and ready to help with any questions and or concerns that we may have had during our stay. We will definitely be staying at Mark and Dee’s again in the future.

Very accomodating and hospital hosts, we had great time here. Room was cosy clean and tidy. Truly recommended to anyone!

Great place to stay in this district of London. very clean and spacious, hosts were very friendly and fast to respond, all amenities worked well. Some good restaurants and shops around, bus stop right at the house, and close to Gants Hill station, too. Thanks for our pleasant stay!

Stayed at Janine's studio for 5 nights. Loved our stay, location was peaceful with easy access to local pubs and shops. Walkable distance to main road with two local pubs and Indian restaurant (which we didn't try) and chip shop(which we did..very nice). Also easy access to local buses into Brentwood high street, from there can travel to Romford, Chelmsford etc which for us was easier then taking the car. Studio was well set up, lovely and clean, with instructions on how to use heating etc. Janine did check in with me to make sure everything was ok which was nice. Studio exactly as described. As someone else suggested probably best to reverse onto parking spot as on a narrow lane. So couldn't fault our stay at all and would be happy to stay again next time we are in the area xx

The place was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated—exactly like the photos. It had everything I needed, from a comfy bed to all other amenities. The host was super friendly and responsive. would absolutely stay here again! 10/10

I had a wonderful stay in Paolo's flat. It was in a residential neighborhood, only a 7-minute walk to the nearest tube station. It was big and open with all the amenities listed available.

Absolutely loved staying here and will definitely visit again next time we are in Crystal Palace. The place was gorgeous and I loved all the person, arty touches. Reminded me of home. The hosts were friendly and welcoming x

Lovely apartment and Claire was fab too. Lots of great country parks nearby which our dog loved. Worked out perfectly as an opportunity to catch up with family.

This is an absolute gem of a place and location, with views right across the Darent Valley. I only wish we could have stayed longer! The place was spotless and everything had been perfectly prepared and very well thought through (from the local hand-drawn maps right down to the vast array of toiletries on offer). I can't think of a single thing to change or improve about the place. Diana was a lovely host and provided a lot of information prior to arrival. She had also found some suggestions of activities for us tailored to our interests, which was frankly above and beyond. We were very grateful and it was clear a lot of thought had been put in prior to our arrival. I could carry on for pages but in summary, we have already recommend the place to family and friends and we be pleased to offer our recommendation here too. Thank you, Diana, for such a lovely place to stay and we hope to be back soon!

Had a pleasant stay with Angela and David who were very helpful and friendly hosts. The apartment was clean and well laid out. Kindly left cereal, milk and tea/coffee. Private annexe with own side entrance. Plenty of Parking. Would happily stay again !

Sid’s place was great! The place was clean, equipped and very comfortable. Sid answered our questions quickly and the space is well located near the town centre. We indulged in fresh croissants daily for breakfast from Eat17 and enjoyed a few of the restaurants in the centre. We look forward to staying there again when we visit the next time.

From the moment we booked, communication was excellent, and Chris went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We had a significant delay and didn’t arrive until very late at night, but Chris graciously waited up for us and even checked in to make sure we were okay when we didn’t arrive on time. The apartment itself was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and set in a beautiful, peaceful location. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the exceptional hospitality. Chris not only dropped us to the airport but also picked us up, which completely removed any stress from our travel plans. Chris, your kindness and care were truly one of a kind. A wonderful place to stay, the property is spacious, modern, and beautifully furnished. Eveline is so very responsive and helpful from time of booking and throughout the stay. Thanks to her generosity in accomodating our check-in/check-out time. Highly recommend and will definitely come back again.
