Waterfront vacation rentals in Elsterheide

We had a wonderful week of vacation here, the house is in a beautiful location and is exactly as the pictures show. Dresden is easy to reach and nature is also very varied and beautiful. The old town of Pirna is just across the water and is easily accessible on foot with the pound. Definitely recommended, even in the winter months!

A beautiful place to stay, saved and revived with a lot of love and expertise by the owner Kathrin (restorer) and her family years ago before it decayed. Anyone who sees and enters the house suddenly feels like they are on a journey back in time to the 18th century, in the most pleasant way. And at the same time, you don't have to do without the comforts of modernity (kitchen, bathroom, Wi-Fi). So cozy and tasteful, authentically decorated. We immediately felt very, very comfortable. For example, we used the beautiful house library (novels, travel guides, etc.) and the small front garden, enjoyed the direct view of the Elbe. (The children were also happy about the beautiful wooden toys.) There would be much more to tell, but perhaps better to discover for yourself... 😉 We will definitely be happy to come back when the opportunity arises.

A bit out of Dresden but the walk in along the river is so lovely. Plus if you don't want to walk getting the tram was super easy. The apartment is cozy and had everything we needed. The bonus was the bars that are along the river when you turn left. Tried them all and would recommend for both a drink and food

We spent the Christmas holidays visiting family in Dresden. Kristina's apartment was perfect for us. It is very nice and tastefully decorated, very cozy and had everything we needed. Kristina was there to welcome us and show us everything. She is very kind and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and can really only recommend the apartment.

We loved our stay at Aneta's place! The house is awesome, modern and stylish, the surroundings are great.

A very friendly apartment to feel good. Centrally located, therefore very convenient to reach everything, but of course also a little livelier under the window. But that didn't bother us. We were very satisfied with everything, we enjoyed it very much.

A very nice, small cottage quietly located in the forest and not far from the lake. There was everything we needed and we loved using the bikes for trips to the lake. We will be happy to come back. :)

In my opinion, this vacation home should serve as a model for all Airbnb vacation homes. Namely: A private landlord personally rents out a house at a fair price-performance ratio with special character and unforgettable moments. We were lucky to have found and experienced this beautiful vacation home. Even the journey was a little adventure, especially for the children. The house is situated in a particularly beautiful garden with many different seating options and a great view of the Elbe. We slept very well and were thrilled with how clean and well-equipped the house is. The landlady is very nice, helpful and always responsive. Thank you for the wonderful time, dear Silke and Andree.

We were warmly welcomed by Fritz and his wife and felt very comfortable in our apartment from the first moment. Fritz always took time for a chat with us, showed us the farm and the animals and always had great excursion tips ready. We had a really nice and relaxing time with the Glatz family, fell in love with the Spreewald and will therefore check back in to Pension Glatz very soon! We give a very big thumbs up and can recommend the stay to any nature and animal lover. Thank you for your warmth and hospitality dear family Glatz!

We loved our stay at Jenny’s house! It was exactly as described and had everything we needed. Our two toddlers loved the play room! It was well set up with stair gates and cups/plates for the kiddos. The house was always cosy despite -9°C and snow outside. We felt very at home and would definitely come back in Summer to make use of the garden and pool! Jenny was very attentive and came over to help us understand the heating and the electric plug in for our rental car. My only negative would be that it was a bit dusty and dirty under and around the furniture. But we are also maybe a more particular family and wouldn’t want this to discourage anyone from staying!

We had wonderfully relaxing days in Yvonne and Steffen's beautiful vacation home! With a lake and forest right outside the door, the accommodation is just the thing if you want to take a few days off from everyday life and enjoy some peace and quiet. The house is very cozy and well equipped - we felt comfortable right away. This was also due to the friendly welcome from Steffen. He took the time to give us tips and was also easy to reach in advance. Thanks for the great time!

We stayed with 10 family members in the house by the lake (6 adults and 4 teenagers). The house is situated in a quiet environment directly on the lake. The house is very nicely decorated, the bedrooms all wonderfully comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. You can cook very well together and in the living room we had comfortable space at the large dining table. We enjoyed the hours of sun reading outside - there are many nice seating in front of the house and on the two terraces. Shopping is easily accessible by car in a few minutes, and Pirna is also quick. We took the S-Bahn to Dresden, for hiking in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains about 30 minutes by car. Susi and Thomas are great hosts and communication with them was very good. It was a beautiful Easter holiday with the family and we can only recommend the house on the lake.

We stayed with Enrico as a family with three children (9/8/1) and had a very nice stay. The house is old and simple but you can tell how much love is put into it. For tall people, however, some bumps are inevitable... Communication with Enrico was straightforward. The location is also great, although you should be mobile by car in all directions for larger activities. For a family walk, it is also very nice on site. Thanks for the nice week

This apartment was perfect for my trip. My girlfriend and I felt very comfortable, she has everything we needed, and she is in a good place in Dresden to visit the city. Torsten was also very understandable about my complicated travel plans and changes. Thanks for all of this!

We were received in a very friendly manner and found a clean, modern apartment. At second glance, unfortunately, there were one or two small dirty corners, but for the most part everything was clean. We had a great time, there was also a wide selection of board games, which our son really liked.

We felt very comfortable with Sarah and Markus. Both are super nice and accommodating. With the smallest problems, they were immediately available and helpful. They even provided toys for our daughter. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and has everything you need. Very comfortable beds and everything very clean. We will be happy to come back.

The apartment is modern, well equipped and you feel comfortable. Lots of large windows that can all be darkened. Everything is clean and well maintained. The communication with Rico is great because he gives all the info and describes it with pictures.

We were positively surprised by this Airbnb. We immediately felt at home; it was clean, super furnished and lovingly decorated. The old town/downtown was within walking distance. No parking problem, neither on the street nor in the underground parking. Pauline was always kind and clear in her communication. Thank you for this great Airbnb and remain with best regards!
