Family-friendly vacation rentals in Elis

We were very satisfied with everything. Olga is an absolutely great hostess. The place was great! It was large and in a very quiet location. We had a very nice vacation. Everything was as described. And above all, the hospitality was really great and all our concerns and wishes were fulfilled. Olga and her family are very friendly and accommodating! We would visit this property again any time!!!

We had a great time: very large apartment, comfortable, clean and equipped with everything. You can enjoy a beautiful sea view from the windows. Quiet area and close to Alykes beach. From there, we moved easily to visit the whole island. Dimitris was really always extremely helpful and attentive to our needs, her mom made us try some typical sweets made by her for us and really great. We recommend it to anyone who wants to feel good in Zakynthos and enjoy the holiday!

An amazing castle like home over a very large olive gorge overlooking the ocean. Absolutely stunning scenery all around us. Home had all the amenities one would hope for and then some. Very large space for our family of 9. Pool and hot tub were a hit plus tons of games including foosball and ping ball. The upper deck was perfect for sunsets. And while we did not use they had this amazing wood fire BBQ and sitting area one could use. The location was great. We were basically on side of mountain in a secluded area but close enough to small villages and beaches. Lots of tavernas within 10 mins…4 tavernas within 1/4 mile (although 2 were closed due to slow season). Getting into Kalamata city center was about 25 mins and well worth it. Ann provided several suggestions on her Airbnb page. While there is taxi service i would highly recommend having your own vehicle Ann has a local host, Joanna, helping out and was super helpful and very responsive. Don’t hesitate to rent this place!

Denia was an excellent host -- super responsive, the place was amazing and had everything we needed. We had a great week there, would definitely stay there again.

The villa is located in a beautiful location and is so peaceful. It is a huge bonus to have the use of the hotels pool, spa and facilities next door. The views from the terraces are stunning. The villa is well equipped with everything you need - and if you enjoy birds, they are a big part of enjoying the terrace. There is a short, steep walk to a swim place - you can access the sea at thie point and it is beautiful water - but there is no actual beach within the immediate grounds. You really need a car. We went in lower season and relied on a car to get around and discover some of the local highlights. There are some great restaurants in Skala - but taxis are 10 euros (4 people) each way so thats 40 euros for a family of 5 to go 5 minutes drive down the road - if you dont fancy driving. Kefalonia is stunning and I would happily go back to stay at Panos' villa! Maybe not with teenagers next time though - it tends to be a little older in Skala - with a very chilled vibe. :-)

Villa Calma was an amazing place for our 3 families to stay. It has amazing outdoor space, a beautiful pool; and swimming in the ocean just down the rocks. Sea there was amazing for snorkelling. Short walk to a small beach and 2 great restaurants. We loved the quiet location. Angela is an amazing host. 6 bedrooms were perfect for us. Kitchen is stocked ok, but would be useful to have some more utensils. Absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it.

This accommodation is recommended if you want to be privately close to the beach and explore the nightlife in the nearest Laganas Road (hotspot especially for young people to party). Ideal for four people, although there is only one bedroom with a door, the other double bed is available on the upper floor (attic with sea view, magnificent!). We were there in the off-season in mid-September, which was great! The large terrace is very pleasant, also the hot tub with various functions (massage jet etc.), a large bench and two sun loungers. The restaurant under the terrace plays music all day, but it was tasteful and not too loud (relaxed music). And important at high temperatures: the air conditioning in the house worked perfectly. Last but not least, Fotis' wife is very friendly, attentive and accommodating, she checked everything. Go for it, Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ!

Amazing location and views, with great beaches and restaurants nearby. The hosts let us borrow snorkels and beach towels which was handy and we enjoyed being greeted by Nala the (very sweet) dog every time we arrived home!

Very good stay experience. The house like the photos, the garden big and perfect for our dog. The area very close to Vytina and Levidi. Nice relaxing and quiet. Yannis was direct in communication and very helpful. Of course it is recommended.

We stayed there for 2 nights and it was absolutely awesome! Takis was very friendly and shared lots of local recommendations and resources for Zakynthos, especially sharing a local restaurant after accommodating our late arrival when most restaurants are closed. Takis’s mum was also very kind and friendly - shared a lot of loquats with us from the fruit trees downstairs and we like it very much! The only thing you need to be aware of is, if you drive to there, the location is not accurate. You may need to search the property name on Google map rather than relying on Airbnb’s direction.

A beautiful place to stay, very peaceful. Loved our morning and evening terraces. Amazing bird life, butterflies and plants. Everything there for cooking. Tavernas and little shops nearby. Perfectly located cottage for those who want to travel between 80 and 120 km (approximately) around, to reach 4 of the main archaeological sites and villages; From Mystras to Olympia... Mountain atmosphere and calm assured at 638 m altitude; this cottage has exceptional household equipment, to be enjoyed without moderation and with delight, in short, a father and son very satisfied with their 10-day stay; Thank you Sarantos for entrusting us with this residence. The house is cozy and clean, the hostesses (Areti) is very friendly and helpful. I personally recommend the stay!

The apartment was much larger than expected, there was a large terrace and a small balcony right next to the kitchen, which was great. There were also two bedrooms and the kitchen was superbly equipped. In the house, there are two apartments directly above each other and one directly opposite, so you have to know that it is not totally private. The village itself is very cute, extremely quiet and you can walk to good restaurants within 20 minutes. Nadia herself was very helpful and nice. We felt very comfortable and would come back!

The room was very cozy and a great stay, the balcony was a great addition. If you’re looking to be an extra tan the sun is in a perfect spot to do so. Also any questions about the town or recommendations I was asking for they gave great ones back and also always responded within 20 minutes so all in all everything was great!

Lovely villa. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings but only a 10 minute drive (€10 taxi) from Zakynthos town. It’s tricky to find but Aliki who lives next door and I guess manages the property was very helpful and spoke to our taxi driver to give directions. Aliki is lovely and nothing is too much trouble.

Everything was smooth and perfect. The view was crazy, the terrace is exceptional. Good location, parking facilities 10/10.

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Kanonia . Diana was so friendly and helpful via messages before we arrived and also during our stay. She helped us with everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble. She organised a brilliant boat trip, set up the BBQ as well as local recommendations. She was always on the other end of a message if needed and she made us feel so at home. The house was beautiful , we loved the garden and all the olive trees. We especially loved the walk through the woods up to a stunning look put point over the sea only 15 minutes from the house. We found some amazing places to eat within walking distance, and highly recommend 'Dopias house ' for their fresh Barracuda and Olives ! We would love to come back. We had a great holiday with our family, including our 2 year old grandson. The setting is lovely - surrounded by olive groves and very secluded. There is other accommodation nearby, but we weren't really aware of it. It's a short walk into the village, with a few shops and restaurants, and a very short walk to the beach, which, when we were there in late May, was very quiet. The beach was sheltered and ideal for children. There were beach bars and sunbeds nearby. The garden and the pool were lovely - the pool was beautifully cleaned every day. The house was cleaned twice during our stay to a high standard. The house itself was very comfortable, well equipped and had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the gas barbecue. Helen and Spyros were very quick to respond to any queries that we had and to help us deal with a couple of minor problems. They were very helpful and provided a travel cot, high chair, baby bath and baby monitor. They provided a bespoke welcome pack.

Dionysia’s place is perfect if you are looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy Zakynthos. The place was really big and open and the breakfast was lovely. Id highly recommend booking this place if you are looking for a nice spot to relax. However, if you are looking more for the nightlife and party aspect of Zakynthos, this place is about a 25 minute drive from the main party area of Zakynthos. Overall great experience however.

We had a wonderful stay - a group of 4 plus a toddler. The space is great, very functional especially with a little one, and beautiful spots to sit and eat either looking over the stunning ocean, or under the olive trees in the yard. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, good communication, and were flexible with check in/out time. There was housekeeping included every couple of days which was an unexpected treat. We swam at the beach down the hill every day - it was beautiful and quiet. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa, the place was absolutely beautiful. With our group of 15 we had more than enough space, especially the outside area was spacious. Dionysius was proactive and helped in any way he could which any problems we encountered. He even came by daily to clean the pool and ask if we needed anything. The time we spent here was amazing, and the communication via chat was outstanding.

Xenofon’s villa was the most incredible place to spend our honeymoon! The location was ideal, as it was only a short drive to several restaurants and look-out points. During our stay, we frequently interacted with Spiros, who was always kind and extremely helpful providing us with recommendations for some of the best traditional Greek food and a boat tour. This was an unforgettable trip and we look forward to returning.
