We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the stylish, spacious interiors and the peaceful ambiance. The house was impeccably clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal because it was close to the beach, great restaurants, and perfect when my family wanted to go out for a walk. We truly had a memorable time for our new year’s stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone. We can’t wait to come back for a different memorable occasion.

This home was perfect for our family beach vacation. Everything was clean, it felt like a home, had everything we needed, and best of all it was close to EVERYTHING. 5 minute walk to restaurants, coffee, ice cream, stores and a 10 minute walk to the beach. I loved the layout of the home and having all the bedrooms on the same floor, as well as a out door disco in every floor. 10/10 would recommend.

The location was amazing, with a secret tunnel through to the beach areas. The view and ocean noise from the porch was great and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. The train noise is definitely something to consider but it was really only annoying when very early morning freight trains came through.

What a special place. It caught my eye months before our stay and did not disappoint. So many wonderful features but the views and two level decks were perhaps the most notable. Lynn was a wonderful host and sent information and helpful tips well before our stay. We loved the fire pit in the cool afternoons and the upper deck perch was a perfect spot for morning coffee and watching the morning dog walkers. The Seaside Market had everything we needed for meals at the cottage and was a nice walk along the trail. The cottage is situated about halfway from the Encinitas shopping area and the Cardiff by the Sea shopping center so options galore. Beds were comfortable and the area was quiet despite the train nearby. There were no train whistles and we barely noticed it’s passing. The fenced areas were perfect for the pooch. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely go back.

We loved our stay! From the incredible sunset view to the gorgeous gardens, this truly felt like a peaceful retreat. Every detail from the comfy beds, soft towels, yoga mats, fun ping pong table, and beach gear to the completely stocked kitchen made our stay easy and relaxing. The location is walkable to many local shops, restaurants, and the farmers’ market on Sundays. Highly recommended!

Beachfront House w/Views of Downtown San Diego

We really appreciated what a gorgeous view this property had. It was incredible to just be able to watch the sunset. The host were accommodating and flexible and let us check in early. This property is also fantastic with children, you could just walk right outside and play the sand and walk the pier and walk along beach. We weren’t able to swim or wade in the water due to sewage, which is kind of disappointing, but that’s not the property’s fault. The fridge and kitchen were well stocked, lots of towels, soap, garbage bags, etc. Cons: the public bathroom is directly next-door and you can hear people in the bathroom and flushing, as well as the public spotlights shine in the property 24/7. Also, if you are sensitive to mold, the older style windows weep and have a lot of mold on them. Lastly, 2 out of 4 bed frames are broken, squeaky and thus uncomfortable. Even with those things, I would definitely return. Location and view 10 out of 10.

The main house is quaint and charming, with a fantastic view over the ocean. The living room is comfortable and the kitchen, though small, is well equipped. The casita is a converted garage with 2 bedrooms and a bath. Be aware the bathroom is in one of the bedrooms, so you have to walk through the bedroom to get to it. It was comfortable for our college kids. Encinitas is a charming town with cute shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay.
