Haus Iris is an independent small terraced house on two floors with its own entrance. Downstairs are the bathroom, the kitchen-living room and the living room with access to the covered terrace. Welcome to the Altstadt-Malerhaus Einbeck. Our 120 square meter large and stylish vacation apartment for up to 6 people is located on the 1st floor of a 150 year old half-timbered house. The house was the living and working place of our great-grandfather Karl Schrader. He was a painter in two senses: a master painter and an artist. In his younger years, he was also involved in the restoration of the famous ceiling painting of St. Michael's Church in Hildesheim.

You will spend your vacation in our apartment on the 7th floor (elevator available) of a former hotel. Through the panoramic window you have a breathtaking view of the mountains and the climatic spa of Bad Grund. The apartment has a fitted kitchen, a dining area, a modern bathroom with a large shower, as well as a cozy solid wood double bed with cotton bed linen. On the balcony you sit between herbs (for self-harvesting) & flowers on teak furniture.
