The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Wir waren zu zweit für 2 Nächte dort. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Die zur Verfügung stehenden Fahrräder waren eine tolle Möglichkeit um eine gemütliche abendliche Runde zu fahren oder auch in nichtmal 20 Minuten etwas einkaufen zu können. Mit unserem Auto sind wir in knapp 1h nach Zandvoort ans Meer gefahren. Es war unglaublich entspannend und die Gegend ist sehr schön.

Het huisje van Marcel was perfect: schoon, compleet en van alle gemakken voorzien. Marcel is een geweldige gastheer, altijd bereikbaar en bereid om te helpen waar nodig. We hebben een zeer prettig verblijf gehad en komen graag nog eens terug!

我们团队一行6人，商务行后旅行经过一晚，1、房屋主人主动沟通确认到达时间，原计划8:30到，实际到达要9:30-10点了，提前1小时通知，房东非常有耐心； 2、房子里有树屋和秋千； 3、方便停车🅿️； 4、周围2.5KM有大海和海滩，沙滩上有贝壳🐚，很适合散步看海踩沙滩🏖️；

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

Wir waren im April 2025 bei Onno mit meiner Frau, meinem Sohn und meinen Eltern zu Gast. Das Haus ist wirklich wunderbar, hat alles, was man braucht und ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Lage ist toll, mit den Rädern, die am Haus sind, sind wir durch den Bollenstreek und haben eine phantastische Zeit gehabt.

Perfect location, unique way to stay in the city. Would highly recommend. Very different experience, of course, than a home or hotel but this makes travel more fun. Being right on the "skinny" bridge was a fantastic experience. Great for people watching or just quickly being right in the middle of everything.

Ich habe mit meiner Hündin ein paar schöne Tage bei Siennie in der Unterkunft verbracht. Der Check-IN und Check-Out verlief unkompliziert, es steht ein Parkplatz direkt am Haus zur Verfügung. Die Unterkunft war sauber und es gab alles was man braucht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie Restaurants befinden sich in fußläufiger Nähe. Das Highlight war aber natürlich der zu Fuß zu erreichende Strand. Leider erfährt man erst vor Ort, dass Hunde weder auf das Sofa, noch mit ins Bett dürfen. Es wäre schön gewesen, diese Information bereits vor der Buchung zu bekommen. Abgesehen davon war aber alles andere perfekt, und ich habe mich in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir waren ganz begeistert von dem Hof, dem Garten und der Wohnung. Es gibt soviele schöne Details, dass man viele Tage bräuchte, alle zu entdecken. Alles war so kreativ und gemütlich, man merkt, dass viel Arbeit, Herzblut und Liebe in den Dingen steckt. Auch die Tiere mochten wir sehr.... Wir hatten einen sehr herzlichen Empfang und viele tolle Tipps für Ausflüge- gerade, weil wir auch mit Hunden unterwegs waren, war es wunderbar, dass auch die ihren Spaß haben konnten und wir sie überall mitnehmen konnten...wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und haben sie gut gefüllt! Danke an Patries und Mike und ihre Tiere!!

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. Thanks for having us 😊

We hebben een ontzettend fijn verblijf gehad en het was van alle gemakken voorzien. Perfecte ligging en alles op loopafstand zodat je zo op het terras kunt zitten of even kunt shoppen. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door Diwa en gaf een goede rondleiding en wat tips. Als er vragen waren werd er snel en duidelijk gereageerd. Een echte aanrader en komen graag nog eens terug! Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft in Zandvoort. Die Wohnung war genauso wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos – sauber, gemütlich und sehr einladend. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – nah zum Strand, zur Stadt und trotzdem ruhig. Annette war eine großartige Gastgeberin: sehr freundlich, gut erreichbar und mit tollen Tipps für die Umgebung. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Casa di campagna accogliente e pulita, con vista su un mulino a pochi passi. Ampio soggiorno, cucina nuova. Apprezzata la presenza di caffè, olio, sale, pepe, bagnoschiuma, ecc. I maiali e il cane sono molto socievoli, anche con i bambini, per i quali sono presenti anche altalena, dondolo, tappeti elastici. Esther e Erik si sono mostrati molto gentili, disponibili e riservati. Soggiorno rilassante e super consigliato!

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Wendela sehr genossen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Das „Rosenhäuschen“ war genau das, was wir uns vorgestellt hatten. Es war unser „ Home away from home“. Und wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

A quick ride from Amsterdam Central to a small harbor off the Main Street. Walkable to all the main attractions in Central Amsterdam and an easy spot to catch an Uber if you want to go further. The houseboat was as described on a quiet dock with friendly neighbors and two awesome houseboat cats Bo and Skipper. This was especially important since we were in town when Kings Day occurred and after a walk around the festivities, it was nice to retire from the craziness and relax on top of the houseboat. The host met us onboard walked us through everything and provided easy contact information for use during our stay. Check-out was a breeze. A great find and a great value!

Ich habe mich in dem schön hergerichteten Wagen sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch weil es mal etwas anders war. Die Begrüßung durch Jose‘ war sehr freundlich. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Wir hatten das große Glück spontan von Freitag bis Sonntag bei Evelin wohnen zu dürfen. Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen. Am schönsten fanden die Kinder den täglichen Blick in den Kuhstall. Trotz des Kuhstalls hat es nicht gerochen in der Wohnung. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft und man kann wunderbar Land und Leute kennenlernen.

Our stay met our expectations. We own a sailboat and are aware of the space restrictions involved. We enjoy different experiences and this fit the bill. Steven is very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed talking with him. We took advantage of the tugboat tour Steven offers to his guests and this was a more intimate experience than we would otherwise have had on a canal trip in Amsterdam. Steven gave us the opportunity to experience bitter ballen and Skipper bitters at an old Dutch pub. For those who are adventurous and able bodied, this is a stay to put on the list!!

Super week-end chez Magdalena. Bonne communication avant notre arrivée, arrivée et accueil parfaits. Nous avons rencontré Magdalena plus tard dans la soirée, une personne charmante qui fait tout pour que ses visiteurs passent un bon moment. Le logement est très confortable, au calme dans un environnement exceptionnel entre terre et mer. Un énorme merci à Magdalena et son mari pour leur hospitalité extraordinaire.

The little house in the garden è un'ottima soluzione per chi vuole vivere una vacanza a Amsterdam all'insegna della comodità. Nonostante sia una casa molto riparata, in una zona tranquilla e silenziosa, si è molto vicino al centro città . Spesso sembra di essere in montagna o quantomeno immersi completamente nella natura. Il traghetto gratuito ti permette di raggiungere in pochi minuti la stazione centrale collegandoti rapidamente con tutti i quartieri della città.
