We really enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculately and thoughtfully presented and was spotless. It was a perfect location for our needs and our elderly dog especially appreciated the garden which was easy to access. We also appreciated the comprehensive information on local areas etc to visit. All in all, a great 3 day break. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Access into the property was easy by the key safe. And Sam‘s local recommendations were also utilised. His communication is great. We walked up to the village on two occasions and visited the Royal Oak pub and also Fables Café. We also went to see the great oak tree which was a lovely walk in the sunshine. The cottage itself has all the amenities needed for a short stay. All clean, comfortable bed and luckily for us the sun was shining and we managed to sit outside on the garden and play a few board games in the sun. Highly recommend.

I honestly can’t recommend this place enough - it’s perfect for groups and Rachael was a fantastic host. Great communication and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The space is huge, clean and exactly as the photos suggest. A stone’s throw from Sherwood Forest and local pubs/shops, the location is perfect. We only wish we’d stayed longer! ✨

On arrival Kate greeted us at the front of mill house to the smell of home made scones. Plenty of easy free parking. Kate showed us around the house and made us feel welcome. She had left fresh milk, bread, crisps, biscuits and jam and cream to go with the still warm scones. Day one we sat in the gorgeous garden overlooking the stream with the ducks and ducking in the stream. Day 2 went on an Easter trail to a local heritage place, day 3 drove to Lincoln which was beautiful at the top of the hill in the cathedral quarter bit of a party town at the bottom but worth a visit. In the evening we visited Bella vita the Italian restaurant opposite which was lovely food. Day 4 and day to come home could have stayed longer and a visit to major oak at Sherwood Forest. Kate was amazing and replied to messages swiftly about places to go etc. our granddaughter loved a visit to Kate's beautiful garden a play on her swing. The house was immaculate and cosy, and the beds were so comfy.
