Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Edmonson County

The cave retreat was a nice comfortable place for us to stay while exploring Mammoth cave and the surrounding area. We were about 10-15 minutes from the visitor center, hiking trails, bike trails, and other activities like hiking. We really enjoyed the backyard including the fire pit. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. We highly recommend!

Had a belated Christmas gathering of family members that we were unable to connect with during the holidays. This was a great place that was basically equal distance for all parties. We all enjoyed ourselves and had a great time.

We loved staying here. It was perfect— clean, roomy, safe, and a short drive to the fun hikes and national park we wanted to see.

What a wonderful house! Justin has thought of everything. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bed was very comfortable. The location is beautiful with decks and 2 fire pits. It is private and quiet and we would definitely recommend this home especially if you are coming with kids!

We were traveling through the area and needed to make a quick booking. Stephanie’s listing was so wonderful I wish we could have stayed longer. The kitchen was stocked well, there was an outstanding coffee bar, and even lots of snacks provided. The lines and home were clean and there were lots of games and goodies on hand for those going to the nearby lake. If we’re in the area again, we would definitely stay at Stephanie’s!

We enjoyed a very peaceful stay! Though it was rainy outside we were cozy and very comfortable indoors. When the rain cleared, we enjoyed relaxing on the porches and a fire in the fire pit. The house was very clean and fresh, and had everything we needed- hosts were very responsive to anything we needed. Great home base for exploring Mammoth Cave National Park. Even though the Green River Ferry was closed due to high water, the drive to the park was easy and scenic.

This is such a lovely place! I wish we had more time to enjoy it. The next time we are in the area, we will definitely return. Everything was clean, the kitchen was spacious and gorgeous, the beds were comfortable, and the hosts were kind and responsive.

We stayed here for my daughter's orientation at WKU. The location was perfect as it was close to campus and walking distance to some really great restaurants. The space was larger than expected, beautifully decorated, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the private balcony where we were able to enjoy the fireworks that were set off at the ballpark a few blocks away. We had a private, off street parking space right by the entrance which we really appreciated. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely book again!

We stayed here during our trip to Mammoth Cave National Park, and the place was just what we expected—comfortable and nice enough for a small town stay. It had everything we needed for a few nights, and the location was convenient for exploring the park. Cave City itself is tiny but has a certain charm. The old Main Street had a cool little coffee shop, City Pizza (which was solid), a local bar, and a bunch of quirky junk/antique shops to poke around in. It made for a fun, low-key evening stroll after exploring the caves. Overall, a good stay if you’re in the area for the park and looking for a simple, no-frills base.

Great Airbnb good hosts and very comfortable place

Only a two night stay, cool place, especially great for music lovers. It was quiet and secluded. It was well stocked with coffee, there were cookies waiting, and some snacks in the refrigerator. Lots to do around with all of the cave tours. I would not recommend for those with mobility issues, there are quite a few stairs and getting into the bathtub / shower is a high step. Other than that, I would certainly recommend to others.

A lovely and quiet spot with all that we needed for the weekend. Josh was proactive and made sure we had what we needed throughout our stay. We'll definitely be back!

Richard's place was exactly as he had described it. The bedding was wonderful and the towels are better than hotel quality. It was an easy drive to Mammoth Cave and walkable distances from the grocery store and numerous eateries. Highly recommend!

A perfect place to stay while in Bowling Green!!! It’s located super close to the main city area, downtown, and restaurants. Looks exactly like the photos and was super clean when we arrived. Highly recommend!!

Well-appointed condo in a great location, walking distance from downtown shopping and dining. Large living room 4k UHD TV is an amazing television, best we have ever had in an AirBNB. Would not hesitate to recommend.
