Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Edmonson County

I cannot say enough good things about this property. It is exactly as described....immaculate, easy instructions for all appliances, etc., easy check in and checkout, furnishings very very comfortable, beautiful location, the game room was a big hit for our 3 teenagers, as was the fire pit (we used it nightly). Great place to relax after a day of activities and there is a lot to do in the area...cave tours (we booked ours in advance), hiking, fishing, kayaking, ziplining. Animal Kingdom was a pleasant surprise and enjoyed by all (I recommend renting a golf cart while you are there - it was a lot of fun). Nothing was more than a 30 minute drive from the property, and the drive is beautiful. Gaby, host, was very responsive to all of my questions and she responded quickly. I highly recommend "Gather at Serenity Cove."

Justin's place is perfect in every way. Short walk to the lake, two beautiful fire pits, comfortable beds, and plenty of room to roam. Justin is also an awesome guy and was there to answer any questions we had before and during our stay. I would highly recommend booking!

Beautiful place ro relax and hangout. The fireplace and sitting area was so nice. Fenced in yard with kids was perfect and being right on the lake was so serene. Beds were comfortable and fans in the room were great. Lots of space to unwind!

Allie was the BEST host! The home was immaculate with everything you need and more. The hot tub was so nice after long days of hiking. The beautiful location was safe and serene - we enjoyed reading and drinking coffee on the porch. Everything was perfect and we had the best time. One of the best places we have stayed in!

Great stay for my in-laws who were in town for my wedding. Nothing but positive remarks from their end! Exceeded their expectations as out-of-state travelers.

We were traveling through the area and needed to make a quick booking. Stephanie’s listing was so wonderful I wish we could have stayed longer. The kitchen was stocked well, there was an outstanding coffee bar, and even lots of snacks provided. The lines and home were clean and there were lots of games and goodies on hand for those going to the nearby lake. If we’re in the area again, we would definitely stay at Stephanie’s!

Nice place to stay + not too far from amenities.

This was the perfect home for my family's last minute escape to Mammoth Cave. The home was clean, spacious and well appointed with lots of fun games and spaces for us to enjoy. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit and the basement gaming area. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive. We look forward to staying here again for another Mammoth Cave adventure.

Very nice and quiet, for being in an apartment complex I didn’t hear anything from the neighbors! Sophia (co host) was very sweet and helpful, and answered very quickly! Overall very nice place, would stay again!

It was such an easy check in, Sam was very responsive whenever we needed something or had questions. Everything was accessible and clean. Overall very good!

It was a beautiful place the only negative part was that the pool was not finished set up yet but we came at a bad part of the year

It was the perfect spot for the week! Everything was clean, and the instructions that were provided made the whole process super easy!

If I could leave more than 5 stars for extra credit, I would. It was an incredibly peaceful stay. The horses were serene. The dogs were so so friendly. My 10 year old LOVED the tree house and the creek. (She wants a creek in our yard now. lol) The space was exactly as described, looks just like the photos. All the comforts of home. The kitchen had any dishes, pots, pans, containers, foil, etc. you could possibly want to use. And so CLEAN! And Tracy and her family are the most lovely people. I enjoyed getting to know them. I highly recommend staying here!!!!

Had a great stay, very simple and easy process. Not too far from Mammoth park as well as the Lost Cave Park.

Overall very nice and clean and very close to Kentucky Down Under! We highly recommend eating at 5 Broke Girls in Horse Cave. This is our 2nd trip to the area and 5 Broke Girls was our first stop! We will definitely stay at Kayla’s again if it’s available!

Jamie’s place was a great stay. Beautiful deck, very comfortable beds, and really fun dish ware. The host is very responsive and allowed my group a late check out due to weather. Perfect place to stay to see mammoth caves, I would recommend to stay here.

The Gnome Home was such an amazing place! We enjoyed the week spent here. Heather was an amazing host. We had all the amenities we needed, including more towels than we've ever had at an Airbnb (it was amazing). We loved chilling by the fire pit at night, and watching wildlife during the day (deer, turkey, owls). We can't wait to come back and visit again!

I had such a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin near Mammoth Cave! The grounds were absolutely beautiful—peaceful, green, and full of charm. The nearby waterfall was so much fun to explore and made the whole experience feel magical. The cabin itself was spotless and decorated so cutely—it had a warm, welcoming vibe that made me feel right at home. Communication with the host, Dagmar, was excellent from start to finish. She was responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. I’ll definitely be back in the near future—and next time, I’m bringing my fishing pole! Highly recommend this little getaway spot to anyone looking for nature, comfort, and great hospitality.

The Saltbox cabin was cozy, clean, and perfect home base for a weekend away in Mammoth Cave with family. The hosts were very responsive and proactive, and thought of all the extras, including extra chargers and USB ports in the nightstands. The record player and selection of music was my personal favorite touch, as it was the perfect compliment to cocktail hour/game nights. The porch was outstanding. We were disappointed we couldn't take advantage of the fire pit and porch because it rained the entire time, but we'd love to come back when the weather is better!

This stay was the highlight of our trip! My kids loved feeding the animals and it was absolutely beautiful! Jeff was very responsive, we planned to grilled steaks on the grill and the propane was out, but he immediately came and brought us another tank. I would highly recommend it staying in the wagon. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Bring carrots for the goats they love them!

Redbird Cabin Hideaway was a very relaxing cottage. We were all very comfortable and the spacious outdoor areas were all filled with different pieces of nature and activities. Justin was responsive with information and clear concise instructions. We highly recommend this cabin and serene getaway for and couples or family vacation. The from porch, cabin, hot tub, fire pit, firewood, playground, the outdoor perch at the top of the hill. Extraordinary.

Well, the first thing that really stood out for me was that the coffee maker worked. Lol. Coffee sets the day for me. But seriously. This place was exactly as described. Everything listed was exactly the way it was. It was restful, peaceful, and again, exactly as advertised. The whole family was satisfied with the experience. Made for a great 3-day getaway for the whole family.

We loved staying here! The porch swing was a family favorite as well as the fire pit. Sunsets over the lake were amazing!
