Romay is an awesome host. Quick response with clear instructions to in the home. Romay's home is just beautiful. The pictures give no justice to how beautiful the home is. Romay left ice cream and other items for my group to enjoy. The pool is very enjoyable with a TV outside and grills to use. I would 100% recommend booking this beautiful place. Definitely 5 stars from me. Thank you Romay.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful secluded lake house. After traveling from the the UK and enjoying time in the lively city of Nashville this peaceful retreat was the perfect way to unwind. So serene, waking up to the calming sounds of Nature. Just what my mam and I were looking for, so glad we brought our yoga mats! The house is so beautifully decorated, love all the details. Spotless and so well equipped. Truly felt home from home. Thank you for creating such a special, peaceful spot. Look forward to returning soon!

We enjoyed our stay at Riverside Escape! Far enough out in the country for some peace and quiet but close enough to all the places we intended to visit! We have family in Franklin and Bowling Green, we also visited Mammoth Caves and drove down to Nashville for a day - lots to from any where from 10 mins to an hour away from here! We were mostly only here later in the evenings but the house had everything we needed and it was nice to have a place to come home to after our busy days out. The view of the Barren River out back was beautiful, the beds were super comfortable and tons of pillows! And the host, Kim, was very nice and had great communication! We would love to stay here again when we come for another visit sometime!

We enjoyed a family vacation with four adults and four kids aged 6-9. Pros- clean beautiful home and property. We all enjoyed the hot tub, and the swings around the fire pit. The house was private and spacious. Everyone loved the game room. It was about a 30 min drive to mammoth caves, which we went to most days to see caves and hike. After our outings we enjoyed a lot of time at the house playing board games and hot tubbing. Cons- my husband had to do some figuring out to get the hot tub to heat properly the first night. The outdoor furniture was a little lacking, it would have been nice to have a patio table for dining/playing games. Considerations- not exactly pros or cons but things I would want to know ahead of time- the area is very rural, which was peaceful and what we were looking for, but a drive to a lot of attractions. The house is on a large hill that I wouldn’t like for toddler aged kids. There isn’t really lake access at the house, but this wasn’t an issue for us.

We really enjoyed our stay. Sara’s home was very cute, clean, and in a good location. She was. Wry responsive to any questions we had. Appreciated the fenced back yards for our pups. Would recommend to others.

Loved this beautiful home ! Came up to see my family and finishing clearing my storage building out where I used to live here . Would def recommend this home ! We had a couple great family nights by the fire pit !

Such a cute home! I brought my family from out of state to spend a long weekend touring Mammoth Cave National Park and this was the perfect space! A quiet, beautiful space that was exactly what we needed and wanted for our trip. Attractions were about 20+mins out which we preferred. The space had everything needed to feel right at home and there was so much room! We had the best time and I would 10/10 recommend 😃

Our family really enjoyed staying at this beautiful cabin on our visit to Kentucky. With the screened in porch and back deck, it was a great space for us. The cabin itself was cozy and warm. We felt like we were staying at a friends house. It was the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever had in an Airbnb as well! Great for cooking, grilling and baking. Every time I reached out to our hosts, they were quick to respond and help. I highly recommend the new pizza place on the corner too! It’s only open on the weekends, but it’s a great spot.

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was just my husband, my adult daughter and me, but the space is very ideal for a larger family and very kid friendly. The location was close to Mammoth Cave, Horse Cave, Cave City, and Bowling Green, which were all places we visited while there. We enjoyed the Gothic tour at Mammoth cave and the tour at Hidden River Cave in Horse Cave. The guest contact, Beth, was very responsive to my questions and very sweet at giving us information on the area. The cabin itself is quite out there (in terms of location) but we don't mind that. We don't mind driving a ways in order to get a cabin that is comfortable and offers a nice location. Due to the recent flooding we didn't visit Nolan Lake and some other areas but KY never disappoints. It is a beautiful state and we will be back some day (been there twice now). I would highly recommend this stay. I was very pleased.

The cabin is spacious and well decorated, so it feels like home from the very first step, and was an excellent place to unwind and reconnect.

The house was perfect for two small families! Our boys (two age 8 and 1 age 6) loved the bunk beds, pool table, and air hockey. The moms loved the hammocks on the back porch. The house was immaculate and Laine was very communicative. Great house! Great amenities! The trail to the lake's edge is very steep as described. The last part of the path is wooded as described, but it is worth noting that the lake's edge is also wooded and not an area to set up and enjoy the lake. Would most definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed staying at Greg’s place!

This was our first trip as a family with our infant granddaughter and it was wonderful! Peaceful, serene with lovely views in a country setting. Rocking chairs on the porch to rock the little one asleep. Stunning shrub rose bushes. A hot tub where the kids could take a moment to catch up while we watched the little one. Visits included Mammoth Cave and Jim Beam distillery. With seven of us, the home never felt cramped. The mattresses were all very comfortable and we were able to cook meals inside and grill outside. My daughter-in-law loved the back porch swing! Brian was excellent with communication and he has the honor of being the first host of our tradition of a yearly family trip to different destinations. Start your own tradition at Smith's Grove, you won't be disappointed. P.S. Buccee's is right up the road!

It was a great place to unplug and relax. Service isnt great except on porch. Nice house layout.

this was an impromptu trip and we were pleasantly surprise to find this gem! everything is just as described and more. we are already planning another visit here with more of our family.
