The priory washhouse

In the heart of the Sarthe Perche in Sceaux sur Huisne, a water town in Roman times, behind the church with its very special bell tower, is the washhouse of "the priory farm". This small building and its basin fed by a spring are part of a very preserved and green space. A hundred meters below are the remains of the Gallo-Roman baths. The room was installed in an old washhouse dating from the 15th century, so we offer you a night "on the waterfront".

Ideally located, in the heart of an exceptional site classified as a Historic Monument (Hodebert Castle) and close to the Loire Castles (Chambord, Cheverny, Amboise, Chenonceau, Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau...), the Ecuries d'Hodebert are ideal for cultural and sports holidays or simply to enjoy the calm of the countryside. Bedroom on the ground floor at the home of the inhabitant in a house in the countryside, close to the Circuit de la Sarthe (28 km or 30 minutes) We offer this room with its private and adjoining bathroom. Breakfast is included (from 7:30 a.m. for fresh bread, otherwise homemade sweets). Dinner is also available upon request. The house has baby equipment. Beware of allergies, we have a cat!
