This is hands down the BEST Airbnb experience I have ever had. The home was immaculate. The sleeping areas were perfect for my family and I. They literally had everything you could think of. Even down to extra toothbrushes. The backyard was truly an experience. But the absolute best part of my stay was the host. Very responsive. Very hands on to make sure we had everything we needed. Responses were prompt. Even one time I had to contact after midnight and my request was handled immediately! I love this location.

Even after a week has passed, this place and how soon we can rent it again is all that’s been on my mind. The view is beautiful, and the house feels like home away from home. We utilized the hot tub, shucked oysters, read at the dock, went kayaking… it was a dream neither of us wanted to leave. The lab next door was an absolute sweet heart, and was very relaxed and friendly towards us and our normally overprotective/anxious dog. Linda gave clear instructions on how to get to and care for the house beforehand and was a great help. The home was already equipped with most things you would need. Certainly would love to visit again.

My mom, sisters, friends and I enjoyed a relaxing fun filled time at the Coastal Oasis at the Chesapeake for our Mother's Day Retreat. The view is amazing and truly can be seen from every room in the house! Being able to see the beauty and calmness of the water helped each of us kick back and let the stress melt away. The big dinning room table allowed all of us all to enjoy breakfasts, dinners and touching conversations together. My guests loved the décor and raved about every detail. The beds and furniture were comfortable and house clean. I would definitely come back!

A great stay on the river. The kitchen was well equipped and the rest of the house was comfortable. The screened in porch and access to the dock/beach/river was our favorite part. Our dogs were in HEAVEN. The location is rather remote, so recommend bringing any food you'll want as there are no close stores or restaurants.

what can I say...what an amazing home and community. Wachapreague is the best kept secret on the east coast. So much to do. Fishing kayaking exploring the barrier islands. Great restaurant in walking distance of the house. There's everything you need at the house. Super comfortable and clean. Thank you Brian 😊

This was was a great spot for us to relax on our way home from OBX. The house is big and comfortable and we felt right at home. We managed to get to the Bethel Beach Nature Preserve (nearby and on the bay), Haven Beach (recommended for swimming), and we went to the farmer's market. We met a number of locals who were all friendly. We wish we had more time to try out the kayaks.

Janie’s home was perfect for our visit to Cape Charles. She was wonderful to have coffee there for us to use and she greeted us with Virginia peanuts and chocolate and I thought that was a nice warm touch. The place was immaculately clean and comfortable Thank you Janie xxo

We had a really nice stay at the Rose Retreat! The home is wonderfully appointed with nice furnishings. We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen with upscale drink and dinnerware. The hand written welcome note, bottle of wine and snacks were so thoughtful - thank you! A perfect location from which to enjoy Irvington and the surrounding towns. We hope to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool!

Wow! We had such a wonderful time at Mr. Roger’s place! The house was just beautiful and clean. The weather caused us not to be able to enjoy the pool and beach, but thats no fault of Mr. Roger! We will definitely book here again. Thanks again!

Beautiful spot! Great location, close to all the happenings of Ocean City, but peaceful and quiet at the house…perfect set up. Great neighborhood. The house is beautiful, all the beds very comfortable. The back deck is gorgeous, thoroughly enjoyed that space and taking the kayaks out on the canal! It’s worth bringing your own linens and towels, we packed everything into a large tote and it worked out perfectly. Very responsive and friendly host! We had a great time here and plan to return. Highly recommend!

The house was super clean when we got there, the temperature of the house was great the entire stay. The pool was certainly clean, but since we went early, June the water was a little bit cold, but it felt really nice and refreshing honestly. There were three beach chairs and a wagon there that were helpful for traveling to the beach. There were available cups plate, utensils, and all the necessities that you would need, they even had shampoo and conditioner bottles there for us. We weren’t aware that there was a code to get into the house so instructions for check-in were a little bit unclear, but all I had to do is message and they responded. Overall, I would recommend staying here because even though the area surrounding isn’t the nicest, I felt safe the entire time at that house!

Just spent Thanksgiving weekend at the Bugaboo. What a delightful house. I arrived late Wednesday night and quickly discovered there was no running water. With Thanksgiving being the next day, I assumed nothing could be done until Friday. However, much to my surprise, Rita and Elaine were right on it, knocking on the door early Thursday morning to let me know that water would be restored within hours. And it was! I was so impressed with the quick response and handling of the situation. Before checking out on Sunday, Elaine again visited and told me I didn’t have to rush to be out of the house at checkout time because no one was coming in that day. Again, pleasantly surprised and appreciative. The icing on the cake was that the host reimbursed me for one night’s stay because of the water situation even though I didn’t ask for it or expect it. I definitely plan to rent Bugaboo again. It’s clean, has nice furniture, a most comfortable bed, a great kitchen and a great location!

My family and I stayed here for a week for our family vacation. We are a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 kids) and there was plenty of room for all of us. We barely left the house because with the beautiful view, dock, beach area, canoe, kayaks, hot tub, game room/ library, corn hole, and fire pit we all had plenty to keep us entertained. Everyone loved Mary & Shelly’s place, and it provided the perfect space for us to enjoy the river and each other’s company!

Words cannot describe how wonderful our stay was. The location, the accommodations, and the ‘residents’ of Grateful Meadows were absolutely magical. We really enjoyed our time there, and are extremely thankful we found it. Such a great experience, thank you!

We had so much at Anne and Neil’s place. It was more beautiful in person than in the photos. The furniture and antiques were so beautifully appointed. We had lots of fun as a family enjoying their pool, searching for shark teeth and shells on their beach, and getting on the water in their boats. Lots of fun. We all wish we could have stayed longer.

Can highly recommend Crystal's condo. She was great to work with, very responsive and her condo had everything we could have needed. Our stayed played out exactly as we'd hoped. Would gladly stay here again if our travels take us back to the Williamsburg/Newport News area.

Exactly as listed, close to everything while still being far enough from the main island scene so there was plenty of peaceful quiet. We requested a later checkout and Matt was able to communicate quickly with other guests following our stay to ensure that it’d be alright for us to squeeze in another hour. The dock on the property was a nice place to do a little fishing. Overall great Airbnb and we would book again.

T’s place was absolute perfection! It was beautiful, tastefully decorated and the homemade muffins and cookies were amazing! She and John were so lovely and accommodating. Relaxing on the dock on the river was a sublime experience as well! I really can’t say enough about my time spent there and if I’m ever in the area again I will definitely be staying at T’s! Why would you stay anywhere else!?

This place was as described. Very peaceful get away for my family and totally worth the price we paid. Teresa was quick to respond and recommended some place to eat. We will be back to experience the fall weather.

We loved our short stay at the Little Gray House. The view alone was worth the stay. The beaches are both easy walks and the area is lovely. Everything was clean and cozy and Bronwyn and Kat gave lots of information ahead of time, including some great recommendations. Would definitely recommend checking out The Hatchery and the Gwynn’s Island Museum on the island and spending some time exploring Mathews. We will be staying here again and hopefully soon!

Incredible stay on a beautiful property. It’s quiet, private, VERY well maintained and just awesome. I truly hope to stay at this location again in the future because it was that great! You can tell the history in the cottage yet it’s updated and cozy. Also I’ve NEVER stayed at a location so clean!!!! From the cottage itself to the grounds, everything was very well taken care of.

Beautiful, peaceful place to stay! The host was friendly and very responsive when communicating! This cottage was exactly as the pictures show and the description given! I would recommend Parker’s Creek Cottage to anyone looking to stay in beautiful Kinsale!

Had a great stay with TV, truly one of the best hosts we have had, great place to stay. Easy walk to Tides Inn and quick bike ride to downtown. Pool and waterview from the roof deck were awesome amenities and hard to find in the area.

There is no better place for a relaxing time away with family (including dogs!). The hosts have taken such care to ensure that every need is taken care of and even added little touches to make the experience extra special. We had originally planned to explore more of the eastern shore, but we could barely get ourselves to leave the awesome property. Nothing prepared me to see such a great sunset on the western horizon from the east coast! What a delight! Most of all, and most importantly for us, the home was truly dog inclusive. We brought our two large dogs with us and the hosts had prepared for it all - covers on furniture, dog bowls at the ready, even dog towels and shampoo! We had an absolute blast at the little beach area and on the dock, but definitely do watch out and follow the host’s instructions to stay safe from the sharp rocks and steep dock stairs. The home is easy to care for with no unreasonable expectations from the host (like in some airbnbs). Check in and relax!
