Hi! The house is located in a quiet dead end street with free parking. Also on the driveway (at night) whenever possible. I live also in the house but as guest you have 100 % privacy on the first floor (rooms & bathroom). On the other hand I’m always stand-by to help in any way. The historical center of Bruges is only less then 2 km away and can be reached by car, bus or bicycles that you can use. Even walking is no big deal. A healthy and generous homemade breakfast is included. :) jan

Meine Frau und ich haben 2 Nächte bei Stef verbracht. Stef hat uns persönlich empfangen und lässt uns vor der Check-In Zeit in die Unterkunft gehen, damit wir unsere Gepäcke da lassen können. Stef hat uns nutzvolle Tipps gegeben, so dass wir in kurzer Zeit die Sehenswürdigkeiten erkunden können. Das Frühstück von dieser B&B ist sehr empfehlenswert. We kregen heel veel informatie van Ann over wat er allemaal is te doen in de stad en waar je lekker kunt eten en drinken en cultuur kunt snuiven. De b&b was heel dichtbij het centrum van Brugge. Wij hebben er een heerlijke weekend gehad. Voor herhaling vatbaar 😉

Had a lovely time at Ruth’s. Both Ruth and her Partner made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was Fantastic and gave us a great start to the day. Our room was right near the main entrance, which made it easier to not disturb anyone. The room was clean and well furnished and met all expectations. We Sadly had to cut our holiday short by 1 day. Only due to Little one being hard work. Ruth kindly did supply a cot bed for our little one to sleep in which was very kind and helpful. But I would recommend to not take a child of a young age to Ghent. Nearly all the roads are cobbles which does test your patience with a pram. There is lots to do near by within a 15 minute walk in most directions.. Big thank you to them both.

Wir hatten ein tolles langes Wochenende! Das Zimmer war gemütlich und sauber. Das tägliche Frühstück war super, es gab viel Auswahl. Man ist super schnell zu Fuß in Westkapelle, erreicht Restaurants, den Strand und Strandpavillons. Auch der Garten, den man nutzen kann, ist super. Dank je wel, Rika, voor deze verrassend aangename overnachting. Je gaf mij direct het gevoel welkom te zijn, onder andere doordat je de tijd nam om onder het genot van een drankje kennis te maken. Onze gedeelde interesses zorgden ervoor dat de avond is omgevlogen. Je huis staat op een heerlijk rustige plek, heeft een heerlijke badkamer en een heerlijk frisse, lichte kamer. En zo fijn dat je als gast gebruik mag maken van de grote tuin! Heel bijzonder vond ik het dat je voorstelde om voor mij, als elektrohypersensitief persoon, de router in de nacht uit te zetten! Heel erg bedankt!

The apartment is in a good location for exploring all that Bruges has to offer. It's on a nice quiet street and is comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed for a short stay including tea/coffee making facilties. Bruges is a beautiful place to visit with lots of bars/restaurants and cafes. We went to the top of the belfry which was a wonderful experience with great views over the town and beyond. I would recommend the Blackbird for breakfast . The decor, atmosphere and food were wonderful.

Jesca was a warm and hospitable host. She was responsive at all times to our needs and questions. She has excellent local knowledge and can give great recommendations for things to do or where to eat. I also learned something of the history of the area through Jesca. Our dog, Tuppence was also made very welcome and in fact she didn't want to leave. Neither did we! The continental breakfasts were filling and tasty. Thank you so much and we would love to come back soon. Zeeland has so much to offer and we loved this B&B looking out onto the church in Noordwelle.
