Vacation rentals with lake access in Eastern Scheldt

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home and were completely satisfied. The house was very well equipped and provided everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen was also fully equipped, so we could cook easily. The location of the house was quiet and perfect for relaxation. The garden was well maintained and ideal for enjoying nature. We particularly liked the terrace, where we could have breakfast in the sun in the morning. The host was very friendly and helpful. He was always available for questions and made us feel comfortable. Overall, we can only recommend this vacation home and would love to come back any time

The house on the water is really very nice and the location great as a start for various excursions. We had everything you need, but a bit of basics was missing in the kitchen (no spices, garbage bags were too small, no dish soap, etc.). We also didn't see the microwave. Basically, you have to get everything you need in everyday life (toilet paper, paper towels, tabs, etc.). But otherwise, it has it all. Some rooms should not be entered, which I always find difficult when renting an entire place. It is also a pity that there is a huge hot tub outside that you are not allowed to use. Otherwise we felt very comfortable. The house is very clairaudient, you have to know that and the room at the top is not bordered with a door. The location is great and communication was also straightforward. All in all recommended 😊

Ana was a wonderful host. She responds very quickly to the messages and gives clear instructions. The stay was wonderful! Very cozy cottage and super area to go to the beach or visit a town nearby. Highly recommended!

Had a great vacation! The accommodation was really great! The steel staircase for dogs was already equipped with rubber mats. For our Labbi, the step protection could have been a little bigger. But we made it that way, too. The restaurant in the house is also highly recommended. Fresh delicious fish. Everything was just great! We highly recommend both the area and the accommodation for dog owners. There was even a bottle of wine to welcome you. Thank you for the time!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotlessly clean, very well-equipped, and nothing was missing. We loved every day in it. The location is perfect – peaceful yet central, so you can easily visit Rotterdam or Den Haag. The village itself is absolutely charming and picturesque, perfect for relaxing and exploring. Spent a week in the beautiful vacation home of Marleen and Wout. The house was perfectly equipped, everything was very well maintained, excellent!!! Communication with Marleen and Wout also worked out great and they always provided us with all the important information quickly. From Herkingen you can easily reach all excursion destinations by car. We were very, very pleased that we were able to spend our week in Herkingen in this beautiful vacation home. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Thank you for the nice place. Sil and John have put a lot of love into this cottage. There are a lot of nice little touches that make it a special place to stay. If you're looking for Swedish minimalism, this is the wrong place. You can tell that John has designed a lot of the house himself, then the tiles in the bathroom are not perfect, but that didn't bother us at all, it adds to the charm. Attention, is heated with a wood stove in the kitchen and an automatic oven in the other room. In winter it could be quite cold, at 14° outside it gets warm and cozy quickly. Take slippers with you!

The accommodation is very well equipped and very nice from the presentation. Small balcony with block on the water, large bright living room and well equipped kitchen. Walking in 5-10 minutes you are at the metro station and in 10 minutes in downtown. By car it is a bit strange to find but otherwise everything was very good. The value for money is extremely good and if we go to Rotterdam again I will look for this accommodation again.

Felt like at home. Overall a nice stay

We had booked the place quite spontaneously. The apartment looks as described on the pictures and in the listing. Very cozy, with nice kitchen and bright dining and living area. The terrace is nice and quiet and gets sun until noon. Restaurants, jumbo market and especially the beach are great to reach in just a few minutes. We had a great time in Sint-Annaland and the beautiful apartment and can highly recommend it. The contact with Jeroen worked perfectly, responded promptly to messages.

We found this accommodation by chance on Airbnb and it was the best choice we could have made. We found everything we needed and even more than expected, accurate cleaning and complete with every comfort. The furnishings are refined and with good taste. Mr Peter was very helpful and certainly in the future if we return to Linkeroever / Antwerpen, we will focus on this property again. We recommend it 100%

I enjoyed staying at Vera's place with my two little girls. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped. The view of the lake is relaxing and the residence is very quiet and well maintained. On the other hand, it took me some time to find my way from one building to another, the structure is labyrinthine when you want to go from the front to the back of the building to unload the luggage or access the pool, all without leaving the building, but I ended up understanding... The pool was my unmissable criterion and it is very nice and very clean. I would recommend this place and would be happy to come back.

Beautiful and cosy apartment in Kortgene, close to cities and beaches with 15-30 min by car. Supermarket is just on the other side of the road. Very reactive host and big bathroom. The only thing worth mentioning is that the apartment has no door separating it from the stairs to the lower floor. We did not have a problem with this however and we never saw the neighbors below so I assume they are mainly using the other exit to give the Airbnb privacy. Would definitely recommend❤️

We have been here for the second time and found it very nice again. At the accommodation, it is very easy to feel right at home. The location right by the lake and also by the sea is great for beautiful walks with a dog. Absolutely recommended!

We spent 4 nights as a couple at this gorgeous cottage in Bornem. Everything was very clean and tidy and exactly as shown in the pictures and described in the listing. The kitchen in particular was extremely well equipped. I have rarely seen this in a vacation rental. In addition to kitchen utensils of any kind, there was also a freezer and microwave. Also noteworthy is the great secluded location surrounded by nature. If you are looking for peace and relaxation and just want to switch off, this is the place to be. The hot tub overlooking the lake then does the rest. We can only recommend this place and will definitely be back.

We spent 4 days with 6 people in the accommodation, which offers everything you need. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. The terrace is optimally large and the gas grill works perfectly. The host was always available and responded to individual requests and needs. From the property, the hotspots are within easy reach, such as The Hague and Rotterdam. In addition, the beautiful small town next door has Shopping and Restaurants. In the whole, we are very happy to have chosen this accommodation.

We had a lovely week in this cozy cottage. It was very well equipped. Everything you could ever need and we had nice weather so we could sit outside as well. Everything was well described and it was easy to find your way around. The location is ideal for excursions, beach walks, etc.

Very well located accommodation, in a pleasant neighborhood, and allowing easy access to the main tourist places. Not too far from Rotterdam by car (1h15). Immediate access to bike paths (provide your bikes). Pleasant, clean and well sized accommodation for two adults. Thoughtfully designed. Watch out for the stairs, a little steep. Charming and thoughtful host. Very easy check in and check out and flexible times. We were delighted to discover this beautiful area of Holland, in this lovely place with a very friendly host. We recommend it unreservedly.

We particularly enjoyed the quiet location. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were the most comfortable we have had in a property in a long time.
