Overall every good experience staying here. Beautiful and stunning views of the lake and trees x. The sauna is also very good. But watch out if you park your cars at the yard, there are trees and rocks you need to pay attention to.

We spent Midsummer here at the lovely big aunt's house. The accommodation matched the description and was a suitable base for our small family. We'll definitely be back 😊

Relaxing couple of weeks holiday on the island. Nice setting with basic amenities, good saunas, fish came up as needed, kitchen with all the essentials and filleting knives as well. There are no neighbors in sight, except on the opposite shore. With a wide rowing boat, the luggage and the family moved smoothly from the mainland to the cottage and the trip was suitably short. I'll definitely come back again!

We have had a wonderful short stay at the Mökki. Check in was super easy, everything was as it was described. Comfortable beds, amazing view, quiet & peaceful. A great sauna! Beautiful place. Lots of activities for families, such as basketball, paddleboarding, boating, throwing a javelin and frisbee golf. Good swimming opportunity. Good cooking opportunities with both a gas grill and a wood stove, in addition, you will find home cooking opportunities inside. Suitable sleeping arrangements for a small family as well as a visiting family of four. A big plus for well water. Nice views of the lake from the sauna. Everything went well and the hosts responded well to messages and were helpful.

Beautiful quiet retreat on a lush island. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your time is provided. There was even a midsummer traditional treat waiting for us. Satu is kind and responsive. She makes sure her guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. Highly recommend.

Simo's house on the lake was a wonderful place to call home while working for a week in Jyväskylä. The house was lovely and always a good temperature. But the highlight was the sauna and lake access. I would highly recommend Simo's place.

It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The sauna was great, offering a perfect way to relax. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Beautiful log cabin with an indoor sauna. The place was clean and free of clutter. bed was very comfortable and I finally got some sleep without hearing cars or people. There is also a very charming outdoor sauna next to the lake that looks like a tiny fairytale cottage.

Perfect place for a nature stay. We even had the company of a Canada Goose! I would recommend it!

Cool accommodation, large, beautifully located, very pleasantly furnished with great opportunities to do things! We had a great time, bathed in the lake and also enjoyed the sauna and hotpot very much! We wholeheartedly recommend the place and will be happy to come back!

Nice and Quiet area. The apartment is very modern, equipped with everything you need. Alena was very accommodating and helpful. The stay was very pleasant.

Stopped here for a night on a motorbike trip. The cabin was cozy and clean. I would come again to spend time in nature and do fishing.

Great place, only the outdoor sauna is missing

Great hosts and a great place to stay. The location is beautiful. Located directly at the national park, you can go hiking right at your doorstep. The jetty to the lake is great for swimming. On the covered terrace you sit very comfortably. Asmo and Hannele were great hosts who were always available. We felt very at home.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the cabin for 3 nights! The setting is beautiful and peaceful and the cabin was well equipped with all the amenities. We particularly loved the sauna which is wood fired with a window looking out on the scenery. The interior is a little more rustic than the pictures but absolutely fine and met the description, we were more than happy. The lake is not 6 min walk away but right by the cabin, so you can easily dip after a sauna (15-20 degrees in Summer). Cabin is well equipped for heating and cooling. The grill is great and you don't need to bring anything other than food. There is no real walking trails from the cabin but the row boat was a fun alternative! We visited in June and had no real problems with mosquitos, some around but they didn't harass us on the decking, worth having repellent, especially if you go on the nearby short hiking trail. Irma and the host nearby in the neighboring cabin were very helpful and friendly!

Second time we're staying and all good. We enjoyed a cozy and relaxing few days. Would recommend!

The best thing about this cottage was the great view of the peaceful lake. It was really nice to have dinner on the glazed terrace and watch the sunset. The cottage was very clean and well-equipped. Special mention of the air conditioning, which helped keep the downstairs and upstairs cool. Jarkko was a really kind landlord and responded to messages and questions quickly. All in all, we had a really successful long weekend at this cottage.

Lovely spot with nice walking trails in the national park and also from the house. Used the canoe for a gentle paddle in the evening - beautiful!

We liked the accommodation very much and everything was as you would like: The handover was flexible, friendly and uncomplicated, the house was clean and equipped with everything you need. Jari was always friendly and very helpful. You can do a lot: The sauna has a fantastic location and a great view from a large window, you can swim very well and there is various equipment for water sports. We recommend this place and would love to come back!

This was our second time at this location and already planning the third visit for later in the year. Ulla is an amazing host, very responsive and so lovely and friendly. The house is wonderful. Peaceful, quiet, the wood burning sauna is amazing and the lake was refreshing. We are definitely coming back again!
