Farmstay vacation rentals in Eastern Europe

Es ist so, als ob man nach Hause kommt und man fühlt sich sofort wohl und weiß, daß man so gut wie bei Freunden ist. Obwohl wir dieses Mal kein Wetterglück hatten, hat uns der dortige Aufenthalt dafür entschädigt und wir werden wohl nächstes Jahr wieder kommen und freuen uns schon darauf.

Vi havde nogle rigtig gode dage i den hyggelige hytte. Vi brugte både saunaen og mediterede i stillerummet, der havde en utrolig flot udsigt. Kurt var meget imødekommende, og gav en rigtig fin introduktion til hytten, og de tilhørende faciliteter. Hytten er det perfekte sted, hvis man har brug for at komme lidt væk fra byen. Det tog lidt under en time fra vi kørte fra København til vi var fremme.

We were a group of 10 people - two families with children and two grand Mums- spending 8 nights at the three villages of La Ghiga. Our experience overall was truly wonderful: -The place is a gem allowing you to reconnect with nature. -The villages are all well sized, equipped and modern with little decorative details giving them a cosy personality. -The pool and garden are maintained daily. -Olivia the host and her lovely family ensure being helpful with all your needs. -The opportunity of trying Olivia’s home cooking with (mostly) own produce is unique and truly recommended to try at least once. -Last but not least, Olivia gave us a tour to their farm which the children loved. The region offers various interesting places to visit e.g.: Civita di Bagnoregio, Orvieto, Lake Bracciano, Orsini-Odescalchi Castle, Villa Farnesse, Tuscania, Viterbo, Sacro Bosco di Bomarzzo. All these are between 25-80 min drive from La Ghiga. Otherwise there is a supermarket at 12min drive and the village of Nepi offers a variety of restaurants if you don’t want to be bothered cooking.

Excellent séjour dans cette maison typique finlandaise à l’extérieur, mais tellement atypique à l’intérieur 😍 … la maison de Mari vous donne l’impression de rentrer dans un autre temps avec ses vieux meubles et objets … et pourtant elle offre tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour très réussi ! L’accueil de Mari était très chaleureux et ses explications sur l’histoire de cette maison de famille très intéressantes. La maison et les dépendances regorgent de trésors … un musée à domicile 😍 Pour un séjour qui sort de l’ordinaire je recommande à 100% !

Everything was perfect, location, communication, the house. The pool, that we shared with the rest of the houses of the villa, was fantastic. Also, there are two dogs and a cat who were really nice, even where I am usually a bit scared of dogs. We would like to repeat in the future. Just to let others guests know don’t forget to bring your own gel and shampoo.

Wir haben uns bereits bei Ankunft wie zuhause gefühlt! Alles war sauber und wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Kidz haben die Nähe der Tiere auf dem Hof genossen - vor allem die kleinen Ferkel. Ausflüge und Restaurants sind in der Umgebung auch perfekt zu erreichen. Das Wetter hat uns mit etwas Schnee überrascht, was dem Aufenthalt nochmal komplett gemacht hat! Danke an Ludwig für einen gelungen Kurzurlaub auf seinem Bauernhof!

We enjoyed a lot our time there. The food they prepared us was delicious and local, and there are many tracking paths around this place. If I ever come back I’d stay at their place with without a cloud of a doubt.

Jättemysig liten getaway. Djur på gården. Nära huvudhuset men privat ändå. Kommer gärna tillbaka!

This apartment is really wonderful - it is really spacious, very well furnished with a lot of well thought out features. It is very light and airy. It is in a quiet, rural location with fabulous views and walks that leave from outside the house. There is ample covered parking on site, which feels very secure. The apartment is only a short drive (or walk, bike ride) from Scheffau (c 2-3km) and there are more facilities (eg shops, restaurants, swimming pool) close by in Ellmau (a further 5 km). We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend staying here.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei Fritzi. Zu Ostern war die Wohnung ganz liebevoll dekoriert und es standen frische Blumen auf den Tisch. Die Kommunikation hat super geklappt. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Für unseren Sohn war es ein Highlight die Hühner füttern zu dürfen. Alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt!

La ubicació de la casa es absolutament fabulosa, al bell mig dels turons que envolten Todi, amb unes vistes esplèndides. L’apartament on ens vam allotjar és el núm 1, un dels 4 que l’anfitriona lloga dins de la seva propietat. L’espai interior està ben moblat i té tots els estris i comoditats necessàris per passar-hi dies. També té una terrassa privada encantadora per poder sopar a la fresca. Tot el conjunt de la casa està pensat per a la comoditat dels hostes, amb zona de barbacoa i chillout sota un porxo, un jardí molt ben cuidat, i una piscina ideal per banyar-s’hi després de voltar pels lloc d’interès propers un dia calorós d’estiu. Valoro molt especialment el projecte de paisatgisme que enllaça tots els espais exteriors de la casa amb l’entorn natural on està ubicada. La Christiane i la seva filla van ser molt afables i atentes. Hem passat molt bons dies i hi tornarem segur!

Wir haben hier 1 Woche über Weihnachten gewohnt und hatten eine tolle, entspannte Zeit. Maria war immer gut erreichbar und hilfsbereit. es fehlte uns an nichts. vielen Dank :-)

Helga and Josef are super nice, kind and very helpful. The place is spotless clean. I love how clean it is. And it’s really big for 2 people. The surroundings are so peaceful. Its worth to stay. We planned to extend unfortunately somebody has booked the next day. I would highly recommend the place of Helga and Josef, you can see the Salzburg Mountain from the window and door. Thank you Josef and Helga for being so accommodating and helpful. We truly enjoy our stay in your airbnb.

We had a wonderful time! Gorazd was super easy to communicate with and always responded very quickly. Loved the animals on the property, definitely a highlight for us. The wood-burning sauna is an absolute plus with a nice view out into the forest. We brought our dog along and she had the best time going for walks in the woods just right by the place. Great location for a little getaway!

Tabea und Palle sind die besten Gastgeber, bei denen wir bisher waren. Wir haben uns bei ihnen sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kinder haben das Spielen auf dem Hof und besonders die Nähe zu den Tiere geliebt. Ein wunderbarer Ort, um kleine und große Abenteuer zu erleben!

Jättemysig liten gård med hästar, får, höns och hund. Min son som fyllde 9 fick en ridtur i födelsedagspreset vilket var nästan lika uppskattat som att leka med hunden (det var nog höjdpunkten). Stort tack för fint mottagande :)

absolut att rekommendera fin liten stugan, det är skönt och lugnt och Anders var jätte trevlig! vi kände oss jättebra och det fanns allt som man behöver vi kommer gärna tillbaka

Die Unterkunft war perfekt! Alles sehr sauber und hochwertig eingerichtet. Außerdem war Gary immer sehr gut zu erreichen, sehr freundlich und hat uns viele Empfehlungen in der Umgebung gegeben. Absolut zu empfehlen und einer der schönsten Unterkünfte, in der wir je waren!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im cottage. Die Kinder konnten im Garten spielen und abends haben wir es uns am Kamin gemütlich gemacht. Sehr hübsches Haus, es gibt alles was man braucht.

Mycket fint hus ljust och med modern inredning, härligt med 2 toaletter och sköna sängar. Vackra omgivningar och fina bad..Gott om plats utomhus där vi spelade med husets kubb och grillade vår middag. Värdparet är mycket trevliga och tillmötesgående. Vi återkommer gärna.

Andra gången i denna fina stuga! Vi kommer komma tillbaka igen! Allt enligt beskrivning och lugnt och fint!

Vores ophold hos Elisabeth og Jörgen var rigtig godt. Vi følte os meget velkomne og i ro. Særligt de smukke naturomgivelser og det skønne væksthus var vi meget begejstrede over. Vi fik en gæstfri modtagelse af Elisabeth, som var en rigtig god vært. Hun inviterede os også over i sit unikke surdejsbageri, hvorfra vi fik friskbagte boller og kanelsnegle - fantastisk. Historien om den familieejede gård og den stolthed det hele emmede af satte vi også stor pris på. Bestemt et besøg værd - særligt hvis man glad for natur, ro og autentisk svensk idyl.

A unique place to stay, in the loft above the sheep stables, we loved the individuality of it. Jenny was super friendly and made us feel right at home. She had cute rabbits and sheep and let us take apples from her tree. It was very quiet and the loft was very spacious. The washing machine made us very happy as we had just about run out of clothes! Definitely a great place to stay.

Vi spenderade nyår här med familjen. Fint renoverat boende med många sängplatser. Avskild plats med nära till naturen. Värden var snabb med att svara och gav bra vägbeskrivning till boendet. Vi är överlag väldigt nöjda med vistelsen och kan varmt rekommendera detta.
