The location of the hideaway was stunning, very private and overall very relaxing. Check in instructions were clear, directions were clear. The hut itself was very clean and had all the appliances that we needed. When we arrived the Hot tub was already filled and heated with clear intrusions on how to use. This little getaway was exactly what we needed to decompress and relax in the country side. Surrounded by birds, wild life and various animals. Jeni was very helpful, quick and responding, welcoming and friendly. Overall a fan experience, would definitely recommend and come back again.

If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet countryside location, we cannot recommend Gail’s Little Barn highly enough. We loved the beautiful, unbroken views across the fields and saw several, wonderful sunsets. The only sound was birdsong. The Little Barn is exactly as described and very comfortable, warm and cosy. It also felt spacious, with all the rooms a generous size. It was spotlessly clean throughout and very easy to self cater. Gail and Mark are kind, friendly and charming hosts. When we had to postpone our arrival by a day, Gail very kindly offered to add a day to the end of our stay. The location of the property, in mid Devon, was perfect for visiting the north and south coasts as well as Exmoor and Dartmoor.

A lovely stay in a spectacularly beautiful part of central Devon. Barnabas & Campie could not have been more helpful and kind. Hesitate to recommend in case it’s booked up next time we want to stay!

Beautiful surroundings and great for walking. A lovely, comfortable cabin - about 4 times the size of a shepherd's hut at half the price! Caroline's sent excellent directions, as it's not the easiest place to find, but then that's a great reason to go there for peace and quiet! Excellent Sunday roast in Morchard Bishop (the evening menu looked excellent too) a few minutes drive away, or 40 minutes lovely walk. And, as other people have mentioned, very well provisioned with bacon, eggs, bread, oil and condiments. An excellent and comfortable stay. With working wi-fi!
