We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful 2BHK flat in Gangtok. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had a very homely vibe. Both bedrooms were comfortable, the living area was cozy, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The view from the balcony was stunning — waking up to the sight of the mountains was an unforgettable experience. The location was ideal too — peaceful and quiet, yet just a short ride away from MG Marg and other key spots. Our host was fantastic — very warm, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. Overall, it was one of the best stays we’ve had on Airbnb. Whether you're visiting Gangtok for the first time or returning, I’d highly recommend this flat for a comfortable and memorable stay. Would love to come back again.

Staying at this property was an absolute delight! 😄 Every single amenity was thoughtfully provided, making it super comfortable and hassle-free. 😎 The view 🪟 from the place was simply stunning 😍 waking up to that was pure bliss 😊 The space radiated positive vibes, peace, and warmth, which made it the perfect birthday staycation for me. The host Mr Leon 🚵 went above and beyond with their kindness 💗 starting with a surprise Peach 🍑 Wine on my birthday, and then another lovely surprise at checkout: a beautiful set of incense sticks that I absolutely loved.🥺 It's rare to find such a thoughtful and welcoming host.🫰 Special thanks to Mr. Prasan 🤓 the manager, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the stay 😃 he made everything even smoother and more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, charm, and a truly memorable experience! 💝

The house was very clean and the view from the Balcony was stunning. All the basic utensils Needed to cook was provided. Another point which is worth mentioning is the bathroom was clean. The staff were very helpful and responsive. I will definitely will like to stay again if I visit Kalimpong again. Thank you Leon, Prasan and all the staff.

Calm and peaceful stay

We stayed at Himalayan Hues in Gangtok for two nights. Located near SAP camp, it’s peaceful yet close to MG Marg. The owner, Piyush, is always helpful and guided us with our itinerary. The caretaker, Passang, made our stay memorable by assisting with cabs and cooking amazing food, especially Tibetan momos and dry aloo dum. Though we couldn’t see Kanchenjunga due to fog, the weather was great. The place felt like a home away from home. I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Gangtok and want to stay away from the hustle and bustle. It’s perfect for a short or long stay. I’ll definitely come back, this time for a long stay!

This place is absolutely stunning with breath taking views and surrounding and has all the required amenities and the property is very beautiful and located very close to MG Marg. The host took care of us very well and their complimentary breakfast is something which we love so much, it’s absolute delight. If you are planning to visit Gangtok this place should be your natural choice, felt as if we were at home. This place is recommended for couples and families and this place ticks all the right boxes to be one of the best AIRBNB we ever stayed. We look forward to visit again to explore north Sikkim. I agree with the two comments made by previous travelers : a homestay with warm, charming hosts who cook and serve tasty, organic local meals (vegetables grown on site). It was so nice to have meals without smartphone around, with the family favors real exchanges around the table. The room I stayed in was spacious, bright and comfortable. The house is not in the village, but Aditya organized all my transport when I needed to move. He looked after me like a member of his family and cared about my well-being. In my previous Airbnb bookings, I have rarely seen hosts so attentive to their guests. I highly recommend this homestay, especially for people who love nature, simple living and human interaction.

Easily among the most pleasant and memorable stays we have had during our family road trips! Beautiful surroundings, great view of Kanchenjunga (sunset even better than sunrise), caring and responsive support staff. Sonam and family are kind, responsive and gracious hosts - we were especially lucky to spend an evening with them around the delicious barbecue they were having. Mrs. and Mr. Kazi Sherpa are delightful storytellers - we'll always cherish our time with them. Whole heartedly recommend Sherpa Villa for a peaceful, beautiful stay in Gangtok!

A beautiful stay in a beautiful place that felt like home as soon as you step inside. Tashi is a warm hearted open human being who gave me a sense of comfort immediately. Srijana, the staff is friendly, kind and attentive. The room I stayed in is cosy and common spaces are plentiful with a good vibe. I had pleasant experience at Angila's place. She is a very helpful host and often went out of way to ensure my needs are met. She also runs a cafe adjacent to the AirBnb. I was here for a workcation and I would work at the cafe. Although there is no desk in the room, it worked out perfectly for me. WiFi at her place was super fast and reliable. Highly recommended if you would like Himalayan serenity and quietness. Slightly difficult to get a cab if you want to get around but Angila ensures her guests get all the help.

This place was new in listing but we either ways went ahead and booked it. We wanted a place with basic amenities to stay away from new year crowd. Starting from the time we booked this place till the time we left, Mr. and Mrs. Gyamtso were always there to help. A perfect host indeed. Though we did not meet them personally but they were very responsive over chats and calls. Their care taker Sanjeev Bhaiya was always a call away if we needed anything. The view from the balcony makes it all worth it. The taxi stand is just below the apartment and you can get a shared cab to MG road in 30 rupees only and it’s a 15 mins drive. It’s a Very clean and organised place. The property is on 5th floor but easy to climb with slow pace. If you have luggage, Sanjeev bhaiya will help you get that to and fro across the floor. A must stay when in Gangtok.
