We had such a great stay. The cottage was so pretty and had everything that was needed (and more). It was clean and very cosy. The area was beautiful and local pub (The Swan) was very welcoming. We took our bikes and visited Bradgate Park, beautiful. The perfect long weekend away!

Paul was friendly and in regular communication throughout a last minute booking process. He was flexible to my late arrival and ensured that the property was immaculate upon arrival. I needed a quiet, relaxed atmosphere where I could unwind following long days at work, the property provided this in abundance! It's only a shame I arrived and left each day during darkness as I couldn't properly enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I will 100% look to use again if I am in the area & would recommend to anyone in need of a nice place to stay for a short break.

this was the loveliest little haven tucked away with just the softly mooing cows and birdsong as your background music. Ivy Cottage had everything you could need and a few added personal touches to give it that extra special feel. Make sure you take a short and easy walk to the Thrussington Village Store for fresh goods, something to take home and their pastries and coffee, oh my!
