Vacation rentals with breakfast in East Devon District

This was my first stay within someone's home, both Stuart and Nicola made me feel right at home and I enjoyed my stay. Usually it's me waiting on my children, so it was a lovely change to be waited on for breakfast. Nicola's homemade jam and marmalade were a real treat. They are super friendly and nothing seems too much, we had some lovely conversations and was recommended various places to go locally. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Spacious shower that was easy to use. A fridge available to pop bits in too. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

We had such a relaxing stay at Emma and Richard’s place. They were so welcoming, right from the first message when we booked, then all the way through the stay and even after we left. They had provided a fabulous selection of breakfast goodies and even food and treats for Lexi, our rescue dog, who they also welcomed with such warmth and gave her the space she needed to settle into her new ‘home’ for 3 weeks. The place itself is spacious with a wonderful big lounge in which to relax as well as a super outdoor area where Lexi was safe as it was completely fenced/walled. We loved our walks along the River Tone every day and also did the other walks in the area that Emma and Richard recommended. We really loved our stay and would definitely return.

This beautiful cottage is a perfect blend of cosy and traditional, but also clean and modern. The cottage garden is gorgeous. We arrived late on the Friday and it was easy to access and Jane’s instructions and responses were great. Everything was clean and the bed was so comfy. But what makes this place so special is all the little touches. We were grateful for the homemade bread, cake, few bits in the fridge, eggs etc which made it feel like you a proper home from home. We loved the stay and our 10 month old daughter did too. There is a small spar convenient shop round the corner. A pub very close, which we sadly didn’t go in. But otherwise the village is tiny, quiet and beautiful. Thank you so much Jane.

Annie and her husband couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. lots of communication with instructions and tips before we arrived and great advice on local places when we were there. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This is a fantastic, secluded spot for a stay in North Devon. Though quiet itself, it's less than 10 minutes' walk to Braunton which has a selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants which Ant helpfully guides with recommendations. The place itself is beautifully done, with a full kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom, and excellent outdoor area for barbecues in addition to a lovely firepit. The landscaping of the gardens is stunning, it's a brilliant place to relax, and Ant is very helpful and responsive if you have any issues or want tips on what to do.

Ideal for me as I was staying one night. Rachel made me feel very welcome and I found my stay very peaceful and relaxing. The room was very clean and tidy I would be happy to stay agin, thank you Rachel! Just a note:- the car park at the coop is free after 6pm.

We thought it was excellent. It was exactly what we expected from the information provided and met our needs perfectly. The accommodation was great, clean and well appointed with access to outdoor space in a lovely garden. Everything for breakfast was provided. The hosts were friendly, helpful and informative, along with their lovely dog. Sidmouth centre was easily accessible with a lovely walk along the river with all the facilities you need, pubs restaurants and of course the sea. Would happily stay again. Thank you.

We had the most wonderful weekend in Lyme Regis, and Tess's house was the perfect home from home in an ideal location. Not only did the house provide everything we needed, she laid out a cream tea for our arrival and the girls were very excited by the toys in their bedroom. We spent our days exploring and evenings on the beach where not only a seal spent the night in the bay while the girls paddled but we also spent an hour watching a dolphin jumping out the water. We will most certainly be back. Thank you for a magical family weekend x

Perfect little place very peaceful walking distance to bus stop and town lots of information in the property about bath and place to go and eat we will definitely be booking the garden flat the next time we come to bath

We had an excellent stay here in Newton Abbott! Mike and Anna were really lovely and responsive. Looks like the pics and is a good size for a group of friends, beautiful decor as well. Would definitely go back!

Perfect 2 day stay for a wedding in the area. Kairen was super quick to respond to any questions and offered early check in if needed. Lovely place with every amenity we could have needed including a magical milk frother and some very thoughtful welcome snacks which were much appreciated after a long drive! Kairen was incredibly friendly and a delight to chat to, the majestic Percy the cat was also a particular highlight. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area, thank you again!

Jude and Will made us feel very welcome. Also a lovely welcome from their dogs. Lots of space and a lovely welcome pack including milk, bread and eggs. Easy 10 min walk into Bridport and lots of places to visit that are a short drive away. Definitely hope to make a return visit.

I felt more than welcome the moment I arrived, both Carolyn and her husband (teddy I think!) were so kind and helpful. I’d come down to cycle and see a friend. On arrival I realised I’d left part of my bike at home. The hosts literally went above and beyond to help ensure my disaster was solved and I can’t thank them enough. The Airbnb was delightful, beautiful surroundings and perfect location, totally private yet so near all you could need. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending a stay there and will be back, of that I’m sure!

This is our first Airbnb stay, also our first stay taking our dog. Having read and turned down a number of other Airbnb places the ducks wing seemed to fit the bill (no pun intended). The garden is lovely and secure, the rooms are extremely quirky which we both liked, our dog loved it. We didn't make best use of the many facilities including the pool, BBQ etc. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the countryside. As I've said our first experience with Airbnb but we were very impressed.

If we could give Julia and the wonderful apartment more than 5 stars we would! From the minute we made contact she was so helpful, friendly and knowledgable. The apartment was just perfect for the two of us but could easily accommodate a third person. It was so modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean and the attention to detail was outstanding, including the welcome pack. Nothing was too much trouble. The outdoor space was just as lovely as the inside with two separate areas to enjoy our meals outdoors and a glass of wine watching the sunset! Thank you Julia, we will be back, Kathryn and Roger

We wanted a last minute place for the bank holiday and what a wonderful place it was! Julia’s farm was lovely the setting was amazing. Peaceful, stunning views and lots of friendly animals. Julia herself was a great host nothing was too much trouble. Everything from showing us around, tips with the hot tub and ideas for what we could do throughout the days. We’d love to go back for a night or five. Would highly recommend

Howell and Susie were the best hosts we have experienced. They were so welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed meeting their friends and neighbours out by the Duck Pond for a wonderful evening get together. A wonderful experience we will not forget. Mary's place was comfortable and welcoming. Felt right at home. Mary gave us good local directions, as well as a bit of history about the area. Bedroom was very comfortable and private.All round excellent.

This apartment was in a perfect location for exploring Woolacombe and the surrounding area. It was spotlessly clean and had so many thoughtful touches such as some milk, tea, coffee and buscuits for arrival and much more. Although the parking was slightly up the hill in the local village hall you could pull up safely outside to load and unload. The Beach House restaurant just a few doors down served delicious food. The lack of TV may put some people off booking here but this is actually a great opportunity to enjoy the view, read a great book and connect with your partner. A perfect little place.

Such a beautiful place. Captured our UK country cottage dream. The garden is beautiful and the home made breakfast was a really special treat. Thankyou so much for your excellent hospitality.

We stayed a little week in The Barn and had a wonderful time. The vacation home met all our wishes. The house has a spacious bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen and a large bed (we were ready for that after 2.5 weeks of sleeping in various vacation homes in a small bed for us). The garden at the house has a lot of privacy and we never felt like we were staying with the owners on the property. Furthermore, it is very quiet in this place with an occasional tractor passing by. Wonderful! And as for the hosts, never met such friendly owners of a vacation home. Always interested and helpful, but never intrusive. It is that we never choose the same holiday destination twice, but otherwise we would definitely come back here. Thanks Ted and Sam!
