Ross’s place is super special, we loved our stay and hope to return! It’s cleaner, brighter, friendlier, comfier and airier than the photos and just to echo everyone else the view is intoxicating and of course can’t be captured in photos. Host was kind, helpful and responsive. Immediate area is very sleepy which is what we were seeking. Amenities were aplenty. Thanks Ross and family!

My sisters & I were in Ontonagon due to a death. I mention because SH Steve was kind & compassionate as we struggled to plan dates! The home was beautiful and really clean. Our stay was comfortable & easy and helped us navigate a sad & difficult family time. And our trip home at the end will mark our final 14hr drive to the beautiful UP. We're city girls!! But I definitely recommend Steve's Sweet Spot for anyone who loves the great outdoors and enjoys the comforts of home!! 5 stars all around!!

The place is wonderful! Loved the design of the house, which is modern for the area but still suits this charming small town. We loved walking to the nearby coffee shop and then having coffee on the upstairs balcony with a view of the lake and the town. The space does have a lot of stairs, which we didn’t mind, but may not be suitable for all guests. The place was clean, well-stocked, and inviting. Great location! The host is friendly and communicative. We hope to return! :)

Loved our stay here! Great location everything was within a 10 minute drive. And the house was very clean and super comfortable. The fence in the backyard was perfect for our dogs! Will be back!

We had a wonderful family stay at this home to celebrate a birthday weekend! The house comfortably slept all 12 of us and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. The kids loved the easy walk to the beach, and we took full advantage of the kayaks, pool table, cornhole boards, and puzzles to keep the fun going all weekend. It was also so helpful that there were plenty of towels for both the beach and showers. A great space for making memories—we’d definitely stay again!

We had a perfect long weekend in Houghton celebrating our twin boys graduation from MTU. We were grateful for the accessibility it offered my mom who is wheelchair bound.

Truly enjoyed using this unit during our one week stay. It was very clean and comfortable with all amenities as advertised and additional unexpected treats! Nicoline is very familiar with her property and able to communicate tricks and tips to make your stay more enjoyable. It's located in a quiet neighborhood with entertainment and dining available within short driving distances. We'd be more than happy to recommend this suite to others.

What a wonderful cozy spot to stay in Marquette! My family (kiddos + pup) were right at home here and had plenty of room to relax in Alexandra’s place. The location is excellent - walking distance to the waterfront, farmers market and many coffee shops, bookstores, breweries. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I needed a last minute place to stay over the past weekend. We wanted to stay in the L’Anise area, since we have a friend that lives in the town, and this was the best option. The unit is clean, has an amazing view of Lake Superior and is very spacious. I was very impressed with the unit overall. I would gladly book again!

I stayed here for three days with my wife and 2-month-old daughter. We received a warm welcome from Robert and Chester. We also got to meet Emmy Lou the following day. We loved everything about the stay. We woke up to the beautiful sounds of nature and felt one with it as we walked around the place. Robert recommended some local spots that we couldn't find on Google, and we enjoyed them. He was always ready to help us feel at home, and we recommend his place for anyone visiting Thunder Bay. P.S.: If you like "The Outdoor Boys", then you'll enjoy interacting with Robert, learning about his projects, the place and everything about the overall experience.

Great place in downtown Houghton. Location is very convenient, apartment was nicely updated and clean.

Rebecca’s place was lovely and so spacious for the two of us! My friend and I just came back from backpacking and camping so this place was a nice treat for one night before our flight home. Easy to find and had everything we needed.
