Cottage vacation rentals in Durango

Beautiful week in murua. Very nice natural environment. The cottage is excellent, very functional and in perfect condition, very welcoming. Pilar excellent hostess, very friendly and well prepared. An ideal place to disconnect and at a reasonable distance from other points of the Basque country. I would definitely come back, a week we fall short

Cozy house in a spectacular rural setting. We were 12 people and the house had everything you need to have a great weekend: spacious living room, numerous rooms, outdoor pool and jacuzzy (a shame it was very bad weather and we could hardly use them), wood oven, abundant utensils, etc. The beautiful setting. A lost house between mountains with very beautiful landscapes. And if that was not enough, Roko, the neighboring dog liven us up the times we were outdoors. In short, we were very comfortable and eager to repeat.

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. It was a surprise birthday gift the apartment is beautiful is decorated to detail.The environment to stay with our dog is spectacular. The house has a very practical little colmado. You are close to the beach and the mountain and is the ideal place to disconnect. Maria is a great host. A hug from Pamplona Mikel & Isa & Chico🐾

Wonderful stay at Irati's. The accommodation is very well equipped and the garden is splendid. Irati and her parents were very welcoming and very responsive to our requests. We appreciated their special touches upon arrival as well as when we left. We recommend their place 200%.

All aspects of the stay were perfect. We were 5 young couples spending the weekend. Elena took care to make clear everything we could do and how we could take advantage of the time. She was also attentive in case we had any improvises. The house is perfect if you are looking to feel at home. Renovated and at the same time with original details of the house. A 10/10.

Beautiful rural garden refuge in the heart of the Merindades, an area of impressive natural beauty and full of lovely medieval (from 10th century on) cities and towns. Santi has put a lot of time and effort to build his private refuge and we felt grateful he shared with us. Him and his wife were fantastic hosts and full of helpful suggestions. Their dogs Jackie & Chan were affectionate and playful. The place was huge, well decorated and spotless. All amenities, modern kitchen and cabinets, great bathrooms with a jacuzzi, working wood burning stove and a huge garden with a sitting/dining area and pond with ducks. Private parking of course. Butrera is a tiny town with a lovely romanic church but just a few miles of Villarcayo with plenty of restaurants and a Carrefour supermarket. A really unique place in our extensive experiences with Airbnb's. Our one regret is that we were there only two nights but we will be back to this astonishing area before international tourism discovers it.

The house is as advertised, it is a small house but perfect for a trip and to get to know the area between Cantabria and Euskadi, equipped with everything you need for a rural getaway. We went with our dog, and it also had many spaces in the area to walk. Jon was always attentive and gave us good directions whenever we needed it. 100% recommended.

Very cozy and well-kept house, with all amenities and details possible, located in a beautiful setting. Very good accommodation option if you want to visit the area.

The stay at Laura's house was great, it has magnificent views of the Sierra de Codés and Mount Yoar. The porch and garden are phenomenal, the two dogs we brought enjoyed it a lot. Both Laura by phone and her father Fausti in town were attentive at all times. And a great touch to find the fireplace lit on arrival, on a cold day. Highly recommended

Iñaki is a great host. It left us total flexibility and the house was unbeatable. The house was fully equipped with everything the listing said and was pending at all times for us.

if you want to disconnect from everything surrounded by nature this is the perfect place, everything is better than good ,we were super comfortable the house a pass of pretty and everything is great, thank you emelina for letting us have an amazing weekend.

Ana and her husband are lovely and made us feel right at home. The house has all the comforts and is unmoved: it is quiet and beautiful. 100% recommended.

There were 12 of us and we were very comfortable. The game room is very nice and although we couldn't enjoy it much, the garden is spectacular.

The stay at Carmen's place was great! Communication with her from the first moment has been very good and has clarified all the doubts that could have arisen for us! The house is great and has enough space for all the guests it marks in the description. We have gone with two babies under 2 years old and they have also really enjoyed the stay! The shame is that it has made us bad weather and we could not enjoy the garden but we did not have the bbq of which the accommodation has. All the stays are equipped with what you need and the heating in autumn winter works great! The environment of the place is beautiful so in good weather it has to be a joy to enjoy it! We absolutely loved our stay here. By far, this was our favorite Air B&B experience. Our hosts, Roberto and Laura, were so accommodating and provided extras to make us feel welcome and right at home. We felt like we were houseguests and not just customers. The oasis they created was so peaceful and beautiful we decided to stay on the grounds for an entire day during our visit. We are already planning a return trip for a lengthier stay.

This house is really fantastic. If you like peace and luxury then this is a good choice. There is not much in the area, so you have to like walking. Everything was in the house, including a basket with breakfast.

We loved spending the weekend at Petraenea Casa Rural. We were 13 people and we entered perfectly and super comfortable, with several spaces to enjoy inside and outside the house. The whole house is very equipped and clean. There are several bathrooms, so we have organized ourselves without a problem. And the spectacular surroundings. A 10.

Lander's place is amazing. It is located in a very quiet area on the mountain, perfect for a few days of disconnection, but close to the necessary amenities in Markina which is only 5 minutes away by car. Communication with him was very good, he responded quickly to messages, he was very attentive. The reception was made by a relative of his who lives in a nearby village and was also very friendly, giving us the necessary instructions. As for the house, it has all the necessary kitchen utensils, lots of crockery, and highlight the detail of leaving us tablets for the dishwasher. The rooms were very cozy, match perfectly with the description and photos posted on the ad. Also to be grateful for the amount of towels there was for the shower. Finally, the terrace and garden area was a real wonder. All in all, we all left very happy about the place, promising to come back and above all recommend it. A liking!

They were very friendly and the house was very large where we had no space issues and good location. We were very comfortable.

Barbara's accommodation in Eguillor is beautiful in every way: space, beautiful decor, perfect amenities, an enchanting setting, a soul linked to the past of the place. We benefited from the excellent advice of the owners and with Navarre we discovered a superb region, while we only knew the French side of the Basque Country. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful meeting in a peaceful and relaxing place! Olatz was very flexible, attentive and very kind. She even inquired about activities/restaurants we wanted to book for us! The place is beautiful, greenery, nature and animals around, very quiet and a beautiful view! I would 100% recommend!
