This historic log cabin is a jewel. Very tastefully decorated and well equipped. Plenty of living g space inside for fun gatherings. Dog friendly allowed for 6 of us and 2 dogs to have a fabulous Bruce Trail hiking weekend. The hot tub to soak tired muscles was a major bonus. Jacqueline and Shane were super responsive, patient and helpful.

Having read the reviews from others I would say there were no surprises. The space is clean, quiet, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for a longer stay. The people I met here were all friendly and I felt right at home. To get places it’s best you have a car or bicycle, however there are plenty of attractions a short drive (or ride) away. Meghan was super helpful, flexible and quick to respond. Thank you Meghan, this place was even better than I expected. Highly recommend!

The Blue Cottage was the perfect retreat and base camp for a series of race days at Devil's Glen and Georgian Peaks for our daughter. The views, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, a field to hike with our dog, and seeing deer grazing were gorgeous. We have stayed here twice, and the hosts have taken the time to make updates to the bathrooms and linens, and small touches like new shower curtains and pillows were really noticeable. It was bright, sunny, and absolutely spotless. Super helpful to find parchment paper, saran wrap, and tinfoil stocked up as the location is in the country outside of Collingwood and a great place to prepare and cook your own meals. The Nottawa General Store on the way into Collingwood is a great spot to stop for a drink.....pick up prepared meals, fresh vegetables, and micro-greens and is only 5 minutes away. Highly recommend!

Great location! Only a 9 minute drive to Blue Mountain!! Really nice place and felt right at home. John was super responsive and helpful. Communication was a breeze if we ever needed to reach him. Definitely a place worth checking out and returning to : )
