We loved the Cart House. It immediately felt warm and homely. The provision of logs for the wood burner was really appreciated and made for cosy nights. There was also milk, tea, coffee and biscuits which was unexpected but very thoughtful. We loved the finish and rustic feel of the place and attention to detail. The village was very friendly and even though it is winter the surroundings are beautiful.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We would highly recommend it and very much look forward to visiting again in the future. Many thanks Rebecca and Nick.

Thanks Ali, We had a great time, like stepping back in time, yet all modern conveniences , superb kitchen, heating , WiFi, sat TV , cosy sat in front of real fire . Free parking nearby on street. Very clean and tastefully decorated , amenities on both upper floors . Hope to visit again in future. Keith and Andrea

Lovely place, great for exploring the Western Lakes. The cottage is cozy, has good amnesties and it’s very close to the village’s bakery, butchers, grocery shop and the pub. We especially loved the fireplace, it made the place feel really homely. The hosts were very responsive and helpful whenever we got in touch.
