Monthly Rentals in Dubrovačko Primorje

We are two travellers in our 60s looking for a peaceful self-catering retreat with nice views and direct access to the sea. Dalia’s lovely sea-front apartment was perfect. There is a small beach a few hundred metres away and direct access to the sea from the quayside. Dalia’s house is beautifully finished with cool stone floors and a fantastic shower. The views from the windows and terrace are stunning and it is fascinating watching the oyster fisherman setting out and returning with their catch. Luka is a very small fishing village with no tourist facilities and many local people. You need a car to get about, but it is a good centre for visiting the nearby attractive town of Ston (walled town, restaurants, views, etc), Broce and Kobas (good snorkelling). It is a pleasant one-hour drive to Orebic (and the passenger ferry to Korcula) whilst the ferry to Mljet is about 15 minutes away. Dalia was a kind and thoughtful host and we would not hesitate recommending her apartment.

We were met by a lovely family who made every effort to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. The property is very peaceful and private yet has good access to the main road. The garden is great for children and there are beautiful villages and beaches nearby. Highly recommended.

We spent 1 week in Petra's apartment! Despite our late arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Petra's father and immediately felt welcome. The apartment has a fantastic view from the terrace and all restaurants including mini-market are wonderfully within walking distance! The bus stop is also very close… perfect starting point for a lovely stay! A special thank you to Nikolas, whose unobtrusive hospitality was very much enjoyed by us! We loved that we were allowed to check out later on the day of departure! So a 100% recommendation

Absolutely incredible place and wonderful hosts. Ana was really friendly and helpful, offering advice and in contact throughout. Her love for the house is catching and we loved it instantly. Maria is just amazing, went out of her way to help even before we arrived and made us feel welcome and at home. The property and garden is amazing, wee slice of paradise. The water is like a warm bath and so clear and with the use of the kayak we were constantly in or on the water every day. The garden is huge and lush with fruit trees and beautiful plants and lots of places to sit and watch the beautiful butterflies. Down by the water has lots of wildlife, we even saw kingfishers! Ston is a short cycle or walk away in the most beautiful surroundings and a walking the city walls were amazing. The locals were lovely and friendly and we felt really welcome. It really was as amazing experience and we all loved it!! ❤️
