Swords is a really nice community. Brian's place is a 5-10 min walk from the bus stop that will take you to the airport or downtown Dublin. There is an 800 year old castle with a lovely park surrounding it that you can walk to in 15-20 minutes. The castle is right next to the quaint little city center with bakeries, coffee shops, pubs, convenience stores and restaurants. There is a small shopping center with attached grocery store and cafe near the bus stop. The bus to Dublin takes 50 minutes and you get to ride with the locals. I had the best hamburger I have ever tasted at The Cock Tavern on the main street in Swords. The cider was really tasty too.

It has been a pleasant and comfortable fascinating experience!! Fionnuala is very close and friendly!! You have no problem helping you in anything!! you have the bus stop two minutes from the house and in less than half an hour you are in the center!! everything is very well connected!!! thanks to her we were able to make an excursion, since we suggested a company to do it, because the one we had booked canelo at the last moment!! The neighborhood is quiet and not loud!! I recommend it!!!

Good location just 15 minutes by bus from the airport. Very nice hosts. We felt very comfortable.
