✨ We had a wonderful two-night stay at Rose Cottage in Eskdale. It’s an absolutely charming and cosy cottage, thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need – from kitchen essentials to lovely little touches that make it feel like a home from home. The location is perfect for exploring the area. We enjoyed two beautiful walks during our stay – one from Dalegarth to St Catherine’s Church, and another to Devoke Water and the atmospheric stone circle on Wonder Hill. The scenery is stunning, and it felt like we had the landscape all to ourselves. Rose Cottage was the perfect base to return to – peaceful, comfortable, and full of character. Highly recommended for a relaxing break in one of the Lake District’s quieter, most beautiful valleys.

We've enjoyed staying at Dinah's cottage. She visibly put a lot of love in the appartement. The bed was very comfy. Dinah is a very friendly host, offering to help us out with our car-troubles. Thanks a lot, Dinah!

Lovely cottage in very peaceful location with stunning views. Cottage had everything we needed, and the hot tub was fantastic. Cottage is only a few minutes from the virtually deserted Drigg beach, and a short drive to beautiful Wastwater. Had a fantastic few days here - thank you!

Great location if you want to climb Scarfel. Great cozy home, and Maggs is great!
