Derek was an excellent host, the listing was just as described - he was extremely helpful as this was our first air b and b booking and we travelled along way. The property was lovely in an excellent quiet and peaceful location. Derek responded promptly to any queries or questions I had and checked in with us regularly. Ploughman's Cottage was a highlight of our trip. Robbie and family were fabulous- helpful and quick to respond. The area is just gorgeous and close to the things we wanted to see. The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. It is worth a trip to the area just to stay here!

Stopped here for one night before meeting friends. Liz is lovely and makes you feel completely at home. It’s a lovely studio looking out on to her garden, and though the trains are nearby they don’t affect your enjoyment of the space. The bed is very comfy, you have all you need in the kitchen and bathroom. And there are some very thought out extras - books, eye masks, hot water bottle for colder nights an array of bathroom products etc.

Very comfortable, well equipped cottage. Situation is excellent for access to Ayr, Irvine, Kilmarnock etc. Would recommend the nearby Cochrane Inn for food. Amanda was quick to respond to any queries.
