Sofia's place was excellent. It was quiet and relaxing with really nice views over the valley. She stocked the place with everything we could need to start the trip, including some fresh fruit from the area. She was easy to communicate with and very friendly. I'd highly recommend this location for anyone who wants a quiet place to explore the area for a few days.

We had a wonderful stay at Yannis Olive Grove. The apartment offered everything we needed and gave us a calm pause from our usual city life. It was easy to find it with a few signs leading the way. Yannis is a very friendly host. He gave us nice suggestions for taverns and local food close by and insights into olive harvesting. We would highly recommend the getaway if you’re looking for a place outside the more touristic areas of Crete. We enjoyed the quiet location in the hills.

Stelios' home is definitely worth recommending. Anything you need for a comfortable stay is present. The welcome by Stelios was extremely warm. He had fresh fruit and muffins ready for us and gave us the necessary tips for activities in the area. The house is otherwise exactly as described in the listing and was sparkling clean. The bathroom is quite tight, but we didn't find that problematic. Unfortunately, we did not have such nice weather so we could not use the terrace and garden much. However, we would definitely come back.
