Fantastic little remote get away. We used it to visit family and friends locally but would be perfect if you’re looking to a quiet get away

Lovely place, was so warm and peaceful when we arrived. Spacious kitchen that was spotless and everything you need. Beautiful views from the windows over the gardens and fields, we saw a lovely sunset one evening and had it been a bit warmer the table and chairs in the garden outside would have been perfect.

We had a magical stay at this idyllic riverside cottage in the heart of the New Forest. Perfect for our family of five (including a baby), it was peaceful, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed. The kids loved swimming in the river, spotting horses and birds, and exploring the local country parks. Gorgeous walks started right from the cottage, and the nearby pub served delicious food with a warm welcome. Ana was a great host who greeted us with freshly made sour dough bread. We felt completely immersed in nature but still close to the charm of the local town. A truly special place to slow down, recharge, and make memories—can’t recommend it enough. Five stars!

This was my second stay of 4 weeks, after a previous one last September. It's still comfortable and peaceful. Jane is always friendly and helpful.
