A peaceful, clean, and spacious place to stay. It is perfect for exploring Dartmoor and it’s a lovely space which feels private enough for your own trip but Sam is responsive and helpful. We were very pleased with the facilities, cleanliness, and location. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at The Old Byre. The cottage is beautifully furnished and well equipped, with everything you would need. Louise and Jonathan are very friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. My husband was in Plymouth for work and he really looked forward to coming back in the evening and enjoying the sunshine and views on the terrace (we were incredibly lucky with the weather). Yelverton is a short walk away, with a co-op, a butchers and a fabulous deli, and you can easily walk up to Yennendon Down for beautiful views, or on to Burrator Reservoir for an enjoyable hike. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Santosh - who we had the pleasure of meeting is a lovely guy. We loved the cottage. Superbly furnished and equipped. Excellent location to explore the area. We've done quite a few Air BnB's over the past few years - this is one of our favourites. The local people are very friendly - 100% recommend this cottage. Go for it !

The Forge is a lovely place, conveniently located with Dartmoor and nature right on your doorstep. A couple of tors are within walking distance from the property, and the market town of Tavistock is a short (5 min) drive away. The Forge has all the amenities we needed for a very comfortable two night stay with our dog who was allowed at no extra cost. Victoria is a fantastic host, keeping in touch with us when our trip was delayed, arriving much later than initially planned and communicated. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
