Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Douglas County

Our stay was great! The house was clean and had all amenities. The house has a large really nice backyard with a deck. Great peaceful neighborhood within really close proximity to a large shopping mall and tons of food options

Mark’s home was absolutely beautiful! The place was spacious, very clean, beds were super comfy, kitchen was well stocked with all you would need, and in a lovely and peaceful area. Mark was very helpful and quickly responded to all our questions and needs, a great host we greatly appreciated. The garage was an absolute plus given the very snowy weather we had that week. Such a great experience and strongly recommend.

This was an amazing bnb. Definitely saving for future visits. It's peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful. Plenty of space for families and areas to explore. the sunset and starry skies are worth it alone. Not to mention from the hot tub as well.

The host was very prompt with replying to any messages from me. We had a problem with the ice maker in the fridge and he sent out a technician right away. Unfortunately, he was not able to repair it, but the host offered to bring us a bag of ice! We stayed in this house once before and if needed, would be willing to stay there again.

We stayed at Jennifer and Mason’s home for a month when our son and daughter-in-law had their baby so we could be close by. The location was very close to everything in Castle Rock - an easy 5 minute drive to the historic Old Town, tons of shops and restaurants as well as the outlets. It’s also super close to many parks. We hiked Castlewood Canyon, the Castle Rock (just down the road), and the challenge hill and other trails at Philip S Miller park. We also explored many breweries (105 West and Iron Mule were two faves) and coffee shops (loved Lost Coffee in Old Town CR and Fika in Parker). It’s a quiet neighborhood but near everything. The house was clean and bright and anything we didn’t have (which wasn’t much) was quickly remedied. They really went above and beyond to ensure we had everything. If you need a long term stay in the area we highly recommend Jennifer & Mason’s place.

A great place for a convenient getaway not far from the Denver area. Our family enjoyed the large deck and hot tub. Plenty of hikes and restaurants close by. Would recommend to any one looking for a quiet relaxing place. Host was very communicative.

Had a great stay with my family over the holidays. Sean was a great host and was very responsive. The home was stunning, cozy and clean. We enjoyed hosting some dinners and game nights. Sean even put up a Christmas tree and decorations. A great stay!

A great stay in an adorable apartment! Hosts are on site and very responsive.

We love this rental! It is out in the country, and peaceful, but close enough to the city where you can find all the conveniences. This unit has nice clean tested spring water to drink from the tap. And the pool table and yard gives our family plenty to do. The unit is also spacious enough to where if someone is taking and shower, or watching TV it does not bother others sleeping. We look forward to coming back again!!

Nick’s home is exactly as pictured and very very clean and well kept. It shows as new. He also goes the extra mile with nice furniture and comfy beds. Stayed a whole month while moving from Home A to Home B and needed a AIRBNB for the gap period while I closed on the new home. He’s very responsive to any issues. Lives like a traditional apartment with full size appliances including washer and dryer. Cooking is a breeze and the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cookware. Most major fast food and restaurants/stores are less than 10 minutes by car.

Comfortable, clean, and excellent communication from host. I wish the TV was shown in the photo tour. We didn’t watch TV on this trip, but it might be helpful for some guests to see photos of the TV area.

We have stayed at Rob’s a few times and are always comfortable. He is a very responsive host and has provided everything you need for your stay.

I had a great stay and I love the area. I had my dog with me and she loved walking around the complex several times a day. They also have a beautiful walking trail that leads towards the mountain behind the complex. If you walk far enough, it turns into a really nice hike. I’d stayed at Alex’s other apartment on the same property back in January as well. I found both of his apartments to be incredibly clean and had fully stocked kitchens. Their cleaning service really does an excellent job and you could walk around in white socks without any worry. I also wanted to add, I ended up requesting to book this place after 11pm at night and got an immediate response and confirmation with my check-in instructions! I had just driven 15 hours straight and the other Air BnB I’d reserved was NOT what was advertised!! I scrambled and messaged Alex/Gabe in desperation, knowing I had a good experience with them before. I was SO GRATEFUL to hear back from them and they took good care of me.

Ken and Colleen's apartment is exactly as advertised. The apartment is very comfortable and private and Ken and Colleen are very responsive and friendly. They live upstairs, but I rarely saw or heard them. My adult daughter, my wife and I felt very much at home. They have everything available that is needed to make a stay comfortable. It snowed one evening during our stay and someone shoveled and salted the steps to the apartment almost the instant the snow stopped, which is better than at home. :-) I recommend Ken and Colleen's accomodation without reservation.

Was a great night lace to stay and very nice. Dan was amazing host.

We loved the proximity to our family in Castle Rock, Parker and Morrison. A snowy Christmas with ground crews taking care of the snow removal making it easy for us (Floridaians) to drive. We will be back soon!

We enjoyed being able to stay with our dogs! Better than a motel room, and the neighborhood was safe to walk dogs.

Very lovely, nicely furnished Condo in Parker. Located in a very nice neighbourhood - close to walking trails and Parks. Michael is a great person. He met us at the Condo to check us in and stayed in contact with us throughout our stay. Real pleasure getting to know Michael

Shawna was very responsive and helped me with every question I had along the way. I highly recommend her and her property for any future guests.

It was our second stay here, and it is perfect. The condo is clean and in a good location. Kristi is a great host!
